    Ayup Arry.. just a quick question if you don't mind mate. We were away a few months back on the coast just along from West Bay. I had the bins out one clear evening looking across Lyme bay and could just make land out right in the distance. I was wondering what part of Devon I was looking at.. on this bit of land I could make out 1 or 2 really tall masts.. phone or tele masts or something that must be really prominent if you know the area. Any ideas where they are mate?? I know you know the area well. I looked on Google earth on from me to the Start Bay Inn was 50 mile away!!

    Yes mate.. the Snake pass (A57) runs right below Bleaklow Moor. I did read about the old girl releasing the cats there all those years ago. Also on that front.. the sighting that the fella had at Edale train station (was on the poddy) is only 4/5 miles away across the Kinder Plateau. And my uncle who was in the TA, he used to take us up there as kids map reading.. I remember him say something about seeing some small stone circles and mentioning something about ritual stuff going on...so who knows!

    No mate. I've never camped on the Bleaklow side mind. It's probably just some supernatural stuff going on.. aliens.. ghosts or perhaps a few Satanists doing a bit of a sacrifice and making a night of it.. or could even be a big cat or two knocking about! Did I just say that?!! Honestly.. I've no idea!

    I was searching on YouTube looking for camp spot ideas in Derbyshire a while back and came across this video. I flicked through the comments as I usually do whilst it was playing and noticed some 'strange goings on' mentioned at a spot on Bleaklow by a fellow camping YouTuber which was acknowledged by the guy( Chris JB) who's video i was watching. Obviously I wanted to know what these strange goings on were so I made a comment to both guys asking the question.. which they never replied! I've since deleted my comments.     Is this the one Mac?? I listened to him on Joe Rogans podcast.. we'll worth a listen. Jordan Jonas is his name and he won that series. Remember him saying he was quite a lean guy naturally and he was drinking lots of olive oli daily leading up to the event to pack some weight on to give him a head start against hunger and the low temps!!

    Same here mate.. my brother tipped me off about it saying how funny it was so I'll see it through. I don't watch a deal of tele to be honest so I'll stick it on and keep an eye on it whilst I'm pottering about.     It's on Netflix. Anyone else watched it?? I've just watched the second one today.. there's 9 episodes. So far.. my overview of it is that it looks like a load if gypsies have won the lottery. He's got metal health issues, which we all know, and many people have to one degree or another... but that probably explains why he still choses to live in Morcombe!! Lol.. Any comments/thoughts folks??

    Fair play to you mate.. that looks absolutely stunning scenery. 105 miles in owd vonga is still a decent yomp and then there will be some elevation included in that too. I know you mentioned getting a tent. Are you planning on camping the whole route or mixing it with the odd night of luxury and some nice food?? Lol..
