All this tough talk on Russia certainly has helped Theresa May's poll ratings. I don't see any reason for Western countries to go to war with Russia in the future. Keep out of their backyard and they will likey do the same ie if the EU and US hadn't supported revolutions and opposition movements in their friendly former Soviet republics, then Russia may have done less 'election hacking' in the west. I see China as the biggest future threat. They will soon have the largest economy, and eventually military. They have a political system that they think can rival the west's, are becoming

There is some good news. The condition of the spy's daughter, who was poisoned by the most deadly nerve agent known to man, is now improving, and she is able to speak: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-43588450

It's a shame Theresa May can't bring back stop and search since she binned it for being 'racist'. Look what's happened to knife crime since then.

Easy, don't put your real name or personal details on Facebook or any other social media. I managed to get by fine without it before the days of the internet.

It sounds similar to the recent rape trials that were in the news, where the police hadn't disclosed all the evidence that showed the alleged rapists were not guilty.

The main test site for the series of chemicals known in the West as 'Novichok', was in Uzbekistan. This is what the former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan has to say on the matter: https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2018/03/russian-to-judgement/

He got some of it from the gas you use, and probably some more from the fuel you put in your motor. Stop funding Putin's billions!

Here are the candidates running in the presidential election and their views towards the EU (in case you're wondering, I don't normally read Sputnik News). Some sound level headed and others are a bit outlandish: https://sputniknews.com/russia-elections-2018/201803151062558013-russia-europe-relations-presidential-candidates-position/

The reason Navalny was banned from running for president is that he's a convicted fraudster. Whether those are trumped up charges remains to be seen. It is my understanding he does not have a great deal of support in Russia, but he is lauded in the west and the EU. The main opposition party in Russia is the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. With the right leadership they may be the party to one day take Putin's crown?

I think it'll be more like what happened with the Japanese dogs. They found the European dogs were far more effective than thier own dogs so started adding a lot of bull blood to their spitz types.

Having seen some old pictures of working Shar Peis, they looked more like pitbulls. Maybe talk her into a healthier bull terrier breed if they interest you's?

Posted this in the wrong thread on Saturday: Having spent some time in Russia I think it's a nice place with pleasant people. Cities are modernised and quite European, while out in the countryside things can be a bit more backward. Putin will win the next election as he is genuinely popular rather than from vote stuffing. This is because living standards have increased substantially since the 90's and he brings stability to the country. After sanctions the economy is now growing again as the oil price rises and the government becomes more flush with cash. People I know in a revolutionary

For all you Putin lovers and haters, here's the man himself getting interviewed by America's NBC a couple of weeks ago. Stick the subtitles on and sit down with a nice cup of polonium tea:

Western countries stick their noses in what Russia considers it's backyard (the former Soviet Union), so Russia tries to subvert Western countries interests. Maybe without one, there would not be he other?

It's fine folks, Boris Johnson's gonna sort out The Russians.
