    just an update for anyone interested........ had the weekend at my fathers digging foxes. Tanner managed a decent dig friday to a very firy customer, but stuck true to the task. saturday afternoon she then was used in a rangy earth and produced a hatrick! she was working very sore here aswell so was impressed! onward and upward atb

    im not trying to rub it in to anyone mate?! i think you are miss interpreting my intentions.........as i have said before the fact that the little terrier is a plummer is of no relevance whats so ever. im mad for foxes and would dig them with any dog that would get the job done! im not on a one man mission to prove any one wrong about the plummer terrier as i couldn't care less for the breed .....just put this up to put gaz at ease a tad that the little bitch will be looked after whilst here with me. atb

    like owes said she was out with us butb was not used. hounds ddnt phase her at all. the funniest part was the huntsman told us to try a single hole out in the field which we could see from where we were sat waiting for my lungs to stop burning. as we sat there chatting we were just about to walk the 30 yards to let tanner have a spin and the fox bolted! couldnt beleive it. atb

    The bitch has come here to do a job.......and as long as she keeps doing that job she will be here for life. me and gaz have an agreement on the bitch and i am a man of my word! im not interested in breeding her and im not interested that she is a plummer.....in fact i couldn't care if she was a lessor spotted moonpig!!! im mad for digging foxes......literally live for it and as long as she stays on the same wavelength she will be here! if not well i guess she will be reunited with her creator, up there in the sky! atb

    yep you got me mate! she is retired after her first dig with me now im just going to use her to breed from. pups will be sold to genuine lads for £800 a peice. This is reasonable....as after all.....she is a plummer! thanks for you constructive comments atb

    As a few of you may know Gaz has sent the little plummer "Tanner" down here to Wales because of her tendency to drop to ground. My good pal Wales123 off here took me up to the midlands to collect the bitch yesterday, a six hour round trip and this is after we had been for an early morning mooch with the lurchers so just shows there are some real genuine lads left in this game. my plan was to settle her in , get a bond going and then start taking her out with the hounds but im an impatient f****r so as soon as we got back i just had to take her out on the hill to see what she was abou

    hi lads a mate is looking to get a bitch scanned to see if she is in pup but after trying all the vets here know one seems to do it........... just wandering if any one knows of anywhere in wales thats doing it? im in mid wales but will travel reasonable distance atb

    I would say its just lack of training and obedience from an early age, get them out early and establish what they can and cannot do,whats acceptable etc,it can take a few months to sort out but well worth the effort, I do not get mistakes, only when adding a new pup to the pack but mine kill most stuff above ground anyway, round here it has to be really wet or cold for fox to go to ground and mine never go in a rabbit hole, they will mark up every occupied hole but will always wait, Plummers are a very intelligent breed and trained from young will be fine, Bunnyboiler, I told you when you boug
