Do you Think if Pups are Up for "KILLING" each other at 7weeks you want to be KEEPING that attribute in ANY dog Just a Nightmare to kennel and have round other dogs down the Line...I.M.O. .. sometimes! but HAVE to kennel separately anyway!Had a smart Black ,won one of the Biggest shows in U.K.,as a pup ,but as a pup a litter mate took a hold of his Face,before I could intervene,Blood was up........Any dog from that Day on ,went with in neck reach,BANG ! If Old Cyril Tyson was still around ,would vouch for that Anyhow Dog never made it to 2yrs,Pts

    This sort of story boils my blood,if a terrier walks as a digging dog ,supposing it was bred as one it should be pts immediately not passed on . Lads should consider the amount of years it takes to produce a half decent dog and have respect for the dog and not f**k around.

    If it was mine I would leave it off till September ,going out at daybreak you will happen upon some handy ones I know it means getting up in the middle of the night ,but would be worth it.I bet the ground you are lamping is well hunted and rabbits are well schooled ,it's hard enough for a young dog to catch green ones so this is probably why it's started yapping,just let it mature and don't over do it ,all the best in the sport

    Same here Andy but am ashamed to say that I shot the wankers pheasants but in saying that they seemed to taste better.The c. nts around my way even shot cubs at the mouth of the burrow if they do it this year they will have another bad bird season!!

    Don't know who these men are but I have the greatest respect for true sportsmen of this calibre.Any youngster starting out should watch This video ,single dog and no one blocking the hare unlike most other ones where they are being filmed from a gate and two dogs killing within feet of the camera fair play lads , very best of luck in the sport

    Yes but before it lost its leg it was doing the job, very well I can vouch for gaffer and he wouldn't just breed any old sh#t. The fact that he is keeping a dog for himself says it all to me. All gafers dogs get out regularly and see graft, not left sitting in kennels used as breeding machines. we will sort a night out shortly mate and i will take him with 3 legs and show ya him work i have never bred a dog this will be my 1st so why all this bollox with my dog with 3 legs is crackers lol if its windy this week we will be out don't amuse anyone or get annoyed just because they criticise you

    . The man said the dog did his job before he lost the leg . I have always found that something always happens to a good one as they give their best ,so don't see why he shouldn't use the dog if he was good enough .I have seen and had dogs that could have been kennelled on a motorway and have nothing happen to them they where that bad

    Season is plenty long but still idiots running hares with young .There should be severe penaltys for anyone caught running hares out of season but then I suppose there are clowns who have no respect for their quarry and can't see past their own nose

    First cross collie or lab would be a good bet ,best dog I ever had was a first x lab dog a little slow in day but more than made up for in brain and guts and an absolute gem on the lamp never ending stamina and all without a mark also great family dog .Have to get another myself!
