    good offer pal its good to hear someone offering something in return theres a good download link called wavers and liability on here dl it and edit it in microsoft word print em off use google maps to scan ya area theres loads of lil barns golf courses football pitches etc... hidden away maybe get some business cards knocked up free vermin control and so on pop em in cafes shops around the country side law of averages will eventually give way good luck all the best pal, craig

    hello pal i was thinking this exact same thing the other day my bsa lightning is at 11.9 ive only used rws hollow points and chances are a different make could tip it over legal, if my local gun shop tested it and it was say 12,1 would they by law have a duty to seize the gun or would have to tweak it back to legal, and if the police chronoed it would they have to do test it with a series of shots to then round an average up??? sorry didnt mean to answer your question with a question but it is like skot says theres a very fine line between ok on ya way and your nicked for posession of a firear

    No Mawders you look at the reports on the Lightnings the modern ones really are that bad, trigger problems, zero problems, stocks cracking, bolts shearing and to top it all very poor bluing (BSA bluing used to be beautiful and hard wearing). The Lightning is rumoured to be so called because it does not strike in the same place twice. A similar amount of money will see the OP with an HW 99, which is twice the rifle the modern Lightning is, even if it does have the easily sorted galling problem that the 99s were cursed with for a while!     theres moisture trapping the area where you keep your guns pal especially if you come back from shooting the metal is very cold and as soon as it hits humidity ie heating been on etc it draws to it like a magnet i normally let my guns climatise for about an hour before i wipe them down with an oily rag it happens so quick and it is just surface rust but i had the same problem it was weird atb craig

    i have a new bsa lightning se and it will match my falcon prairie cs shot for shot with no power curve but obv recoil but cant put them down for a springer!!!!
