  1. Love that bottom race picture threelurchers - the brindle in the no 3 jacket
  2. Some jills get really aggressive, others don't seem to change at all - just depends on the individual. I wouldn't worry too much about it though - as the kits get older she ought to calm down and return to normal.
  3. not sure mate but its karyon jimanica mix , heres a lotk bitch waiting for 2 bolters taking them both I could be wrong but I thought Jimanica were a coursing kennel. I remember seeing quite a few Jimanica dogs on the coursing field anyhow. But maybe since the ban they've switched to racing?
  4. Both feathering like mad in the long grass. Something had obviously been through but when it finally broke cover they both still had their noses to the ground and never saw it -
  5. A whole series of misses and bad timing today. (Some of it was filmed into the sun so not that easy to see.) Love the bouncing busher in this first clip - Lurcher completely wrong-footed on this one -
  6. Trev - do you often find them squatting out in the open like that? I almost never do...
  7. Sounds great but couldn't watch the vid - says it's private....
  8. Nice. Can't beat a bit of daytime mooching.
  9. She knew there was scent - just a case of puzzling it out ... Poor myxied bugger.
  10. Lurcher's timing was just all wrong...
  11. That is a real lovely dog you have, you can see the whippet in her and i bet in time she will probably be able to pick up rabbits that run from cover to cover. atb fella. Thank you. I'm very pleased with her. She's a nippy little thing and I think you're right about her picking up the occasional one in the open, though I think luck will play a big part - being in the right place at the right time and all that....
  12. Truther - I'm intrigued by you saying your busher's specially trained for the squirrel job. Excuse my ignorance but what does she do?
  13. I'd love to give this a go but my skill with a catty would need to improve fairly dramatically - most stuff you'd get a shot at would be moving at speed I would imagine. Only exception is likely to be squirrels which would probably give you a chance when they pause about 10 12 ft up a tree, which they often seem to do.
  14. Joe - how old is he? Looks quite young in the pics.... And what's his coat like?
  15. Love that top pic bryan. Always a relief when they're sound again.
  16. I didn't breed her fairy - just got her as a pup. Her sire is border terrier x whippet, not that much difference in size so I would imagine a pretty straightforward mating....
