    I have decided to give the fishing another decent go this summer so was on the look out for a new benue near me and remembered about an old brick pond that was a small coarse fishing syndicate that a friend of my dads was in. times gone by there was a waiting list to get on this place.     I dont get all the 'who has he fought' stuff. He has beat everyone infront of him and now has a world title...he cant do anymore. It is not his fault if the opponent is not as good as him. AJ did what he needed to do last night and did it well. Hearn is talking about a fight on July 9th, that is to stir trouble with fury. I for one would watch AJ, well probably both rounds of it then flick over to watch the rest of the fury fight.     Are you French by any chance? They can't seem to fish more than five metres from their vans I actually beat that last week. I ad my camper van parked 3 metres from my rods, watching them through the door from the reclining armchair, glass of wine to hand and the Truma heater on full chat In that pic you can see my wires goin into truck to sounder box clipped on rear view mirror! recline pasenger seat and job done, even got drinks holder for a couple beers!!! 5 mins to get fishing 3 mins to pack up. perfect for me at the minute.

    To be fair fella I didnt throw my view in if you read back. Also the season wasmt questioned or discussed the method was. Im pretty sure an EA officer would question ledgering with an open faced reel with worms. All I advised was to make sure its inline with local bylaws regardong hook size etc to save getting a fine, apologies if that has upset you somehow.

    As above, boring fight to a points descision and then fury makin a tit of himself by moaning or singing. Im not a Fury fan at all and dont want him to be world champ and representing our nation around the world...however; 1. I would rather the belts stayed here 2. If fury wins then in 6 months AJ will be the undisputed and unified heavy weight champ of the world So I will reluctantley be cheering for Fury.

    Id make myself fully aware of the local bylaws to ensure it was acceptable. There was a 40 man match on river Trent last closed season because of the loop holes. Im sure it was 'worm fishing for eels' was the way around it. However the hook had to have a certain gape to be considered not coarse fishing.

    This does look proper lazy but I usually go in last hour of light and I am off at first light to get home to the jobs! Because of this I use the trooper as my bivvy so I maximise my fishing time as much as possible.

    Theres only a few places I fish. one of the best was 'free' but a right trek from the car. Thats why I liked it at the time though because a lot of people convenience fish....due to family comitments I am now one of thise very people!!! I once asked in a tackle shop where was decent on the trent and was told if you fish somewhere between where it starts and ends then you will be on the barbel. at the time i thought he was being a cok but its true. Its full of em but can be tempermental. there is a stretch at North Muskham which is 20quid for the year and when the weather is good you can ge
