  1. Glad you didn't have to dig as deep as ratsmasher (new Andy Kelly nets post), like the photos
  2. Decided to invest in some Andy Kelly nets - thanks forum for the contact. The Tom Daley specials, Pretty in Pink very eye catching Andy - I thought you would have tied the pegs on for me and also are they colourfast at 40C or should I use an eco wash Anyway, nets were great can only echo what has been said already. Joined by Ratsmasher (fellow forum member) who says we need a new spade or somebody else to dig in future, may need to look at that thread about spades. Four warrens worked, 3 bunnies from the first, nil from the second, a manic 5 minutes with 1 runner and 4 in the nets fr
  3. Hope all goes well. Make sure you post amusing tales of runaway terriers, bolting rabbits and general chaos later please
  4. I'd certainly be interested in the cured pigeon breast and venison fillet "cracker".We normally keep venison simple; bearded and roasted blue and carved across the grain, very finely: delicious! But... You can have too much of a good thing so something new would be welcome. I've got recipes for venison bresaola, if you like cured meat and venison Tajine, if you are bored of stew but want something warming but exotic! Like your taste in Sauvignon blanc but you should be having a nice red with that venison?
  5. They are impressive. Have you been collecting long? How did you get started? Course? Lucky enough to have a mentor? Have you ever poisoned anyone? On my bucket list
  6. That's dedication! You must either have a passion for digging or a Charlie must have really pee'd you off in the past! Great photos
  7. Yes in the main follow this recipe http://www.thegrubworm.com/2011/01/brawn/ People seem to shy away from...don't know why as its only a pork meat terrine really. Smoked some ham hocks recently so a pressed terrine is next on the menu, that's in addition to the squirrel leg pâté made last week....& no I kid not:-)
  8. Ring your local FEO? Spoke to ours before applying (Suffolk) and he was great, guided us through and kept us informed. Have raised a few queries with him since and he has been really helpful.
  9. Are you seriously saying the wording for your HMR condition on your FAC says CLOSE RANGE FOX? And what distance does your FAC go on to say is close range or is that simply left to you?? I wondered that as well, I wonder if you are required to lazer range find for every shot then incase it oversteps the mark by a foot or two, bloody ludicrous. Yup Never seen that before, is there actually a definition of close on your FAC? To be honest that is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever seen on a FAC, just what does it mean, my close, your close, police close, RSPCA Close????
