never seen this in all my years but today at the back of the park that backs onto fields is on fire.not 500 yards from the house.poeple living near to the park have got the hosepipes out and are soaking the park outside their properties.

In the bedroom last night it was 30 degrees.ac got it down to 26 degrees but when I turned it off at midnight I may as well not have bothered.

Maxed out at 34 degrees.with my little ac unit it only got down to 25 degrees in the bedroom last night.tonight will be worse so no sleep.
