  1. My daystate was different. Airwolf with full length shroud + Airstream Mk4 vs Huggett shroud and silencer was barely any difference in sound level. It did make the rifle 2 inches shorter though which was nice. Simon
  2. Nice. I much prefer the sporter stock to the thumbhole.
  3. Have you tried cocking the rifle and then filling it?
  4. The normal carpark lights are artificial are they not? Anyway, what you have quoted there is part of the permitted section. You can shoot feral pigeons with lamps, lights, campfires and NV. It other birds you can't. Simon
  5. As it is a break barrel and a cheaply made one, it is probably a problem with the barrel lock up. That would account for the up down movements you are seeing. Dodgy pellets would scattergun rather than just be up and down. Simon
  6. https://www.dropbox.com/s/k7232mt2sgrtibr/airwolfbipod.jpg?dl=0 I'll get a pic of the stud installed in the light tomorrow.
  7. I don't believe anyone does a regulator for the regal though? One version of the Mk3 had a regulator, and the electronic ones have some wizardry to approximate one, the rest just have the slingshot valve system which does help consistency and shot count. Simon
  8. Will this never end? Will what never end Mr Aboot? Have a very quick look in the other thread in this very section of the forum to see what will never end.
  9. BSA goldstar. What a great gun that was. But oh no, I had to buy that shiny PCP. I regret it now of course.
  10. When I had a really bad cough earlier in the year, the doctor suggested trying some antihistamines. Just bog standard Tescos own hay fever relief. Worked surprisingly well.
  11. There is a strip guide on AGF if you are a member: http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/176287-BSA-Ultra-SE-Single-Shot-Stripdown-Guide Might help you to see what needs to be done. From the pics there is something to stop you rotating the bolt in the other direction as you would have to do if you just flipped the bolt handle over. so I don't think it's going to be simple unless you go with Skot's curving upwards bolt. Simon
  12. You know what they say. "what happens at the meet, stays at the meet"
  13. Read the second part of the first line in my answer. It might not have been written as clearly as it could have been I suppose. It will affect the shot if you are using a mildot or one of the other aiming points other than the cross in the middle. Unless you have a first focal plane scope of course.
  14. I'll go for yes, zoom will affect where you aim, if you are using any other aim points than the cross in the middle. If you use the first mildot to hit your target at 9x for a given range then change to 4x you will be aiming higher than before.
  15. Looks like an FN8 in a sporter stock. Can't tell from that picture really.
  16. I was watching that this morning. First thing I wondered was how the hell does he load the mag! Nice shooting though. Why not try HFT though? just do it all kneeling?
  17. Depends on the calibre and preference. Mostly advice given is: .22 30 yards (will also be dead on at about 10 yards which is where you probably got that) .177 35 yards (again personally I zero at 28 yards as it gives me no hold under)
  18. I think most have safely deforming bottles rather than blow off valves. Basically a one way thing that if you trigger it, the bottle is toast and needs to be replaced.
  19. DIY or Daystate then. I put the stud into the bit where it gets thicker just before the filler valve hole. I can't fill with the bipod on, but it's no real hassle to take it off for the infrequent fills. Simon
  20. Best be quick, Daystate factory is closing down on the 25th (-04th aug) for a holiday.
  21. I've got 2 airwolf stocks, both with front sling studs. The one that I use all the time I drilled and screwed in myself, the other has a nut/plate on the back and that was from the factory, but I've not used that one, I am going to give it a good oiling, but I've not got around to it yet.
  22. Have you tried on the Daystate owners forum? Some members/admins have a direct line to the factory.
  23. Ah yes, I forgot the NS550/NS750 ones. Digital but look like scopes.
