I would doubt the parents were emotionally or mentally in a position to have to make such a heart wrenching decision and the fact the burden has been taken off them would perhaps lessen it perhaps, even if only slightly. It may not appear so but infant mortality and toddler deaths are at such a low level in comparison to years gone by that we now think no child should die, sadly they do. The fact the numbers are so low should endorse doctors capabilities and ethics. All the people laying on the doctors, next time you need one, treat yourself.

I didn't mean in your opinion, I meant in a professional capacity. People tend to become doctors to save lives, I doubt very much this decision has been made without every consideration being thought through. A great number of doctors will be parents and decisions like this will weigh heavy on them.

If it were to kick off probably better if a bomb lands right on top of you. Chances of survival anywhere would be slim, unless you own a whippet/beddy cross, you could survive for years in the wild if you had one of them.

Reading on some facebook sites it's unbelievable the people siding with Putin and Russia. Then you notice when the British government is involved they always opt for the other side regardless of who it is. Then you notice the user names and the way they're spelt and it all makes sense.

A friend of mine has three, decent dogs but not doing anything better than other more popular breeds are capable of. He has them because he liked them and wanted something different, not because he thought they were better than other breeds, which is fair enough. I tend to simplify things, if certain breeds, Brittany's being one of them were so good, how come they're so few in the field.

Whether you like it or not the father has no say, and rightly so, it's not his body, he's not carrying the child and he's not enduring labour. To imply the father has the same rights as the mother would imply that the father could insist on the mother keeping the baby or for that matter insist she aborts it. In your world that might be acceptable, in the real world the final decision lies with the woman carrying the child whether it's for the right reasons, wrong reasons or selfish reasons.
