  1. I just showed this topic to my missus she's still laughing. " and you think women are bitchy" her exact words. I actually feel slightly ashamed
  2. One sent over to pd and pf here in Ireland dug alot of game but it was absolute carnage on the dog everytime he was in the ground. If he was a bit bigger it would have suited him better as he was just a bit small for his heart. Didn't throw anything decent really.
  3. Good picture of Keith in darcys first now that's what I call terrier work book if anyone has it handy put it up.
  4. The only real wheeler I saw work was the dog we had Keith x rose mother son mating. Hard is all I'll say!!!
  5. I don't think there talking about finding out what line a dog is from I think there well aware of there line and breed! It's about identifying what dog out of a certain family is the sire of a litter
  6. Food for thought so Shane. As I said the dna test could be done yet.
  7. Yeah its not to big a deal it would definitely be alot easier to find a related stud than dealing with a lack of decent bitches. But I suppose down the line it could be of concern if any of those dogs weren't worth breeding from or lost. I'm sure it will start to rectify itself hopefully sooner rather than later.
  8. It's always been in the back of my mind to get a dna test but I had plenty of pups all related blood so didn't really need those ones and I just put them to the back of my mind. My dogs are all related so I wonder how accurate the dna test would be ? Would it pinpoint the exact dog? I took 3 litters from that bitch before she died to dog's of ours so have plenty similar blood anyway. I only really started to pay heed in the pups I gave away when I saw them working into their 3rd seasons. A dna test could be done yet !! Not a bad problem to have i suppose I'm delighted it threw a couple of work
  9. You'd be happy with my situation so. Last four litters out of our line only one dog in each litter. All bitches!! Im praying for dogs at the moment
  10. A few years ago I was on holiday for a couple of days and one of the boys was looking after my terriers a certain very good bitch was in season at the time and I gave instructions to mind her as she was not being mated this time. A few weeks later I noticed her starting to grow in size and realised she was in pup. I asked the lad who looked after them that weekend did he f**k up he said no even though I know he did. I had 7 males on the yard and not a clue which one had done the deed and a certain young dog didn't make the grade. The breeding was spot on whichever dog it was but as I didn't kn
  11. Had a pup born almost that colour out of a choc bitch and a black dog and it finished up a deep red colour. All the rest came choc. I'd know the breeding inside out but it was obviously a throw back to something? A touch of bull way back maybe?
  12. Reading your post made my blood boil donny. That behaviour goes against everything good in our game. It's all about gifting pups out to decent trusted lads and getting pups back down the line if needed. Helping one another out is the name of the game between good lads money should never rear it's ugly head and most decent lads are well prepared to do such. This low life whoever he me be doesn't have what it takes to make it in the terrier game he has just proven that and hopefully the backlash he gets and shame he feels match the crime. He's a perfect example of the scum that shows up in our g
  13. A dog that looks physically ready to work may not be mentally ready to work. I personally don't work terriers untill there def 18 months. I'll tie them up at a dig let them see the sights and smell the smells they'll work when there ready. I know people do things differently but that just seems to work for me especially if the dog seems to lean to the hard side starting off.
  14. A good few years back we had a wheeler dog over from England. Keith x rose mother son mating if I'm correct. To say he was hard was a serious understatement. Nothing left of that now.
  15. Your chocolate one is the image of one of mine lost to ground 4 yrs ago in his prime. Brings back memories. You have them in fine fettle Shane. Credit
  16. Alot of differences between the two men mentioned
  17. Couple of nice ones Aaron. Good to see the dog's back on here leave the bitching for the women. No need to ruin a good thread if people have a problem with someone they should say it face to face.
  18. That's him alright. He told me the pup was a bargain only 500 pound he said it was guaranteed to work and that was good enough for me. So I never worked him cos he was too valuable as a stud dog...... no flies on me
  19. That's exactly how all mine are bred. How did you know?
  20. p***y site out near Hebron road kilkenny is worth a look. The place has a name like wetlands or something. Stolen working dogs have turned up there before. Thieving c**ts
