  2. What's strange about thousands of people dead, sticking the roof back up maybe the least of the family's worries that are coping with loss..... the dead are dead mate, living is what those left will be concentrating on the basics of food water and shelter would be a top priority

  7. i have no idea as to whether they work or not but there websites has some impressive claims A brief insight into the effects of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy During the 20th Century, electromagnetic fields generated by passing a low power current through copper coils has become an effective form of therapy. Since the 1950's, pulsed magnetic fields have been acknowledged as an aid to healing bone, osseous, ligamental, cartilaginous, or nervous reparation, diabetes, open wounds and myocardial or cerebral ischemia in humans and animals alike. 8. i believe its best to store them fully charged if they're not going to used for a while and best stored at room temperature, the individual cells within the pack can if left uncharged over time fall below a certain power level and when you attempt to charge the pack it wont charge. this can be rectified by taking the individual cells out and giving them a quick boost charge with a normal lithium battery charger, Li-ion batteries contain a protection circuit that shields the battery against abuse. This important safeguard has the disadvantage of turning the battery off if over-discharged, a
  9. as above but, i know when one of mine has had a bad experience they tend to get nervy and yelp for seemingly little or no reason, could be anything from a neurological problem to bone cancer, one can be ruled out with an x ray but the other would require an mri scan at a cost of over a grand, i believe the vet by giving painkillers and time has made a good call if its one of these and not something that will sort itself given time then the reality is you would have spent a fortune and still have not been able to cure the dog,
  10. i was listening to the news the other night and they were saying utility bills will have to increase every year for at least the next seventeen years to pay for renewal of the aging infrastructure, is it just me that finds this odd as surely it should be the companies and their investors who should pay for this as they are the ones receiving huge payouts each year, if it was still nationally owned i could understand it
  11. i once bought a camo knitted jumper that turned out to be a knitting pattern for a camo jumper.................anyone on here that can knit
  12. hopefully we all try to do best for our dogs, as science moves forward some of the old thinking is replaced by new findings, the producers of these products have a vested interest in keeping the same old thinking going, i can only say what i have experienced and found out by researching why certain things have happened as i hate not knowing WHY, take adding vegetables, the new thinking is unless you liquify or purify it then very little of the associated vitamins and minerals are absorbed as it passes through the intestine. again all new to me but makes perfect sense if you think about it. my
  13. you need to get a countersignature for both initial and renewal
  14. as you know i've been there and got the t shirt but its not something that happens daily its a random occurrence like those who get killed by cows, the key is reducing the possibility, no supplement or additive on the market is not going to do squat about that only the owner has that influence to a limited degree, if a dogs suffers mild acidosis then administering electrolytes might seem to be a wonder cure and as i keep saying water and sugar are needed. however with mild acidosis the salt and potassium will not do any damage but if the dog has full blown rhabdomyolysis then adding extra pota
  15. read the smallprint "Why choose Beta-Cel®? Common greyhound diets may not contain sufficient electrolytes (body salts) to meet the needs of racing greyhounds. Travelling ..." proper grub and regular exercise would maybe mean its not needed
  16. as i said i understand glucose both before and after a run as its what fuels the dog and its whats deplenished after a run, i understand the potassium and sodium in recharge before a run but not immediately afterwards as the dogs blood is already overloaded with them I am guilty of adding beta cel to there food before a session at the beginning of the season when its still warm and they still on route to being fit. So saying I don't use supplements was a little white lie i thought beta cell`s was something to do insulin produced by the pancreas or something along those lines

  18. i did try evening primrose tablets but couldn't see any difference but the same as cod liver oil theres nothing in a daily tablet or spoonfull that would do any harm and might indeed do some good.
