Not quite. I originally said book, film or music etc. Basically anything deemed a 'classic' that you didn't 'get' yourself. I think most people got the point. As an aside. 20 odd years ago Loaded magazine for lads started which turned into total shit within a few years, but the first year or so was good, fresh & different. There was a small section every month called 'Sophistication Station' & in that a bloke would recommend a book, film & record that you SHOULD own & I have to say, for me, it was normally bang on, but every now & again you'd think "what

Had a bout of insomnia last night & ended up watching Big Sur, a film about Jack Kerouac, until 4 this morning. Not a particularly great film, but it did remind me how disappointed I was when I read On The Road. A 'must' read. When I was a young bloke I was eating up any modern literature, film or books that were regarded as classic's or 'must' read/see/hear. On The Road by Jack Kerouac was one such 'classic', only I didn't really like it or think it was that great, but I thought I should? I wouldn't be worrying about liberal & pc. It's just not the greatest of examples to use to justify your argument. Though the girls who did have decent loving fathers, then no, I'd say they wouldn't find it in their hearts to slaughter innocent kids. Just a hunch.
