  1. For something half decent....from 400 Euros to over a 1000 Euros.....I think? is there a certain level accuracy with this bow hunting , you have to pass 1st , before they allow you out hunting with it, like say stalking you have to be able to hit a target at so many yards. other wise like an untrained stalker , you get poor kill an a slow/painful death for a animal . , never done it but have used 12g's few times and not a bad shot with a gun , so not got a bad eye for most target I think the general hunting licence covers it, but it's probably recommended to take a course before
  2. That is a lot more traditional obviously, the Compound bow is quite technical, I had little clue about them really..........easier to use than I thought, but more technical than I thought.......If that makes sense? I think Imports would be straight forward enough though....

  6. Even if I do, I'm years away mate. I have to be fluent first in either French or Flemish & then pass a hunting exam. It's not like the UK here, where practically anyone can get a shotgun licence & crack on......Here, you actually have to know a bit ;-) What does the Belgian permit consist of? Good luck with it, itll be a great achievement I got my bow hunting ticket here, but it was like a lecture and then a bash. I don't know specifically mate. To officially hunt anything here with a gun you need to pass the exam & that covers Bowhunting. I get the impression the exam

  12. Very common here, along with Beech Martens.......those fcukers get in your motor & cause damage, it's happened to me! Seeing one after being here a year was a buzz, but I've realised since, after a while, they are just common vermin in a lot of places.........I've had to deal with one myself.
  13. Fillon, who got 19% as well, is now on TV urging his voters to vote Macron.

Makes sense, but what a fascinating hill to climb, eh?
  15. No. He is pro Europe. I took my wife out to vote today here in Belgium. Massive turnout! It's about the vote in 2 weeks time. ahhhhhhIt's a nightmare My wife voted Macron :-) The far left have at lest 19.5%! Which is big under the circumstances, maybe not the best of news for Le Penn? Who will those voters vote for in the second round?

  18. It's only permitted in Wallonia here, not Flanders where I live. I think the Flemish guys just travel down to the Ardennes to hunt. It's a complicated country.....
  19. The vote is massively split in France, with Le Penn only getting 21% at the moment & Macron getting 23% ahead of the others?
  20. Wow I'm a convert! Has anyone tried it? I know it's not permitted in the UK, but I'm sure there are some lads on here that's done it? I dragged my family along to the Belgian hunting expo yesterday, which was in a venue in Gent (lovely city). One of the stands was the Belgian Federation of Bowhunting. They had a range set up & you could have a go with a compound bow, with a little chat free of charge. Well within a few shots I was hitting a life size model of a Mouflon in the kill zone at 15m, maybe not so impressive, but with a bit of practice??? These guys that hunt regularly, w
  21. Weed dispensers looking like Apple shops....haha It's hard to get your head round how quick things have shifted in the states, while things are shifting backwards in Holland, creating market control by organised crime, while earning fine money for the state. Madness!
  22. I've been watching Weediquette in last couple weeks. I don't watch much TV, so I'm probably a bit behind on some, but it's on the Vice channel. Very interesting indeed & well made. Weed is going corporate in the states!!
  23. Are you trying to collect members for a cult over there Dan?
