I may be biased...but some of the most interesting people I know are stoners & some of the most insufferable are pissheads. I really hope my kids don't take either route though...... Baring all these newfangled synthetic drugs I think coke heads are by far the worst especially when they've been drinking. Personally I think weed is the least harmful of all the drugs (including alcohol which is one of the worst) and I think it should be legalised because it being illegal serves as a gateway to other more harmful drugs since some dealers are unscrupulous scumbags who don't have a pro

Haha....so true! The material is priceless....

I reckon his only get out, if it doesn't go through, is that he can blame it on the lack of funds issued by congress... It's a subtle get out clause but could be the only one. The satire it's creating regarding plans, and articles, is pretty damn good! That's one thing I thought when he got elected, a satirists dream! That's definitely one good thing that came out of this! Haha......

I think that wall could prove to be the Albatross around Trumps neck. It may of been a sincere pledge, but one he may grow to regret, after all, making America great again should mean so much more than a wall? But the judgement of him on this issue will be massive.....
-
That's a huge concern over here too. Again if someone could only find a huge influx of money to tackle the issue. :thumbs:Parents have a huge responsibility in all of this. How many parents leave the educating to the state though? :hmm:If all kids have are their peers then we're part of the problem... Exactly, my parents were very concerned about what I was up to, they worried, loved & cared & gave me a good grounding of right & wrong. I think that's one of the many reasons why I've never let things slip out of control.....

It already is chewing up the money we don't have. A good kid with hopes and dreams won't smoke it because they don't want to break the law for a start, here where I am it's all the wee neds as we call them that do it, in fact where I live these days all the young cool fit kids look down on the neds that drink and smoke weed, changed days, it's not coolWhy do keep on about young kidsIf regulated it won't be sold to young kids And since young kids can already get hold of it regulating it can only improve things What would the age be? I go on about young kids because I've got young kids and do

You're all talking sense on this thread, I'm out of likes today though ;-)

He is, I just want to see good kids doing well and stay away from it, maybe ones trying it to be cool realises it isn't cool n stop, all the wee idiots that get hooked and do fuk all other than be idiots and cause trouble, fuk them, they will just use it to start with before they start using everything else they can get eventually ending up on smack Yeh I agree, no doubt a lot of these kids are a product of their environment. Where I grew up, smoking weed was in no way a prerequisite to a fcuked up life. I hate to repeat myself on here, but I know lads that were smoking weed in bus shelters

I don't think anyone wants a newsagent style system where you can just pop in buy some dope with your red-bull. It has to be well regulated, age limits, prescriptions etc etc....

Chris you are talking sense as usual

Foxdropper do not think you should step back & have a clearer look at this mate? I don't know much about Johnny Bluck or Lutra Lutra for that matter, but we did share a few pms some time back & on that basis I would seriously doubt you are right? The big question is, if it is johnny bluck, who's identify has he assumed, who is the guy in all the pics with terriers & hawks? Someone must know, has he assumed the identity of a dead guy? It's a bit far fetched, isn't it? If I'm wrong, then fair enough....

I'm not really sure how I would like to see the law work regarding all drugs. I do know our current approach just does not work. One thing I have no experience of are these so called 'legal highs', which now seem to be legislated against, these things seem to be causing a lot of damage now in community's. So I'm not sure about the argument for legalising certain hard drugs, as these were once technically legal? Perhaps if we had handled our conventional drugs policy better, ie Cocaine, ecstasy, heroin etc, we may not have such a big problem with these 'legal highs' now, is there a link? Has

If I ever get it now, I travel over an hour & get it legally....
-
I'm not sure what would happen, I know in the states it's had a negative effect on the wholesale price. Suppliers in some states are getting less supplying it legally, by quite a bit.It is going to go corporate there, so the price will get driven down I would of thought?

I'm an ex stoner, I may get a bit a few times in a year now.....at most, if the Mrs takes the kids away somewhere.I think there can be lots of negative side effects depending on what kind person you are & what you are actually smoking. Some people I've known appear to have little negative effects at all? Over the years as a direct result of smoking or eating it I've been paranoid at times, lazy, unsociable.......eating too much, although I don't get fat. At other times I've been highly motivated, gregarious, sociable, confident & full control of my appetite! I've had some great experi

I don't think you need wilderness at all tbh. These guys are taking 30-50m kills at Roe, wild boar etc.......I asked the guy I dealt with if he had many runners? He had a hunting licence for 15 years & had been bow hunting for 5 years & he said it was no different than shooting with a rifle for him. Sometimes quarry just dropped & sometimes ran on a bit. You couldn't just make it legal for any anyone in the UK, otherwise you would get exactly what you've said. I know some real idiots with shotgun certs in UK, there's no way they would pass a hunting exam here!
-
I'd be really disappointed if mine didn't deal with one, but he is 16" & 26lb! Haha....
-
Hard to say. The learning curve on them is shorter, I'm told. My current bow go-to is a Paiute native. He laughs at compound bows and is drawing something in 3 digits on a traditional longbow. Arms like Eddie Hall and legs like Zola Budd! One thing that has stuck is that skill trumps gear... Practice, practice, practice! Oh yes the learning curve was quick, but like anything, as you refine it, the more technical it gets....................I think I was a long way off 80m at tennis balls!! Haha.....
-
This was the surprise to me, it's the draw that takes the strength & mostly technique, then it clicks onto place, & stays. Within a few go's you improve. There was a girl there, quite attractive actually, who was the second best belgian bow hunter in the country & she used a 50lb bow, which was higher than I used. The established men were on 70lb bows..........I wouldn't of been able to pull that yesterday, I'm sure?
