    Otters dont do much damage on a salmon river ...I would rather have a pair of otters on my beat than a pair of sawbills

    Tigger is 28 tts and was 84 lb when fit ..Fly the brindle bitch will be 25 tts and about about 60 odd lb..Morphie is 26tts and will be over 80lb

    Heres a pic of a crakin young bitch Roo 1/2 sister to Morphie the big red dog both out of Tigger ...she is 1/4 bull she has some drive and I never thought she would last her first season very committed I would own this bitch in a second if I could . My others are are Saluki /deerhound based stuff the big dog on the left is pretty much retired still has the drive just doesnt have the legs anymore and just used when needed ....and the brindle bitch in the middle is out of Tigger over his sister Rosie ....I dont give the bitch the credit she is due she is a decent bitch with some pace and wind

    He has a fair bit of pace but just lacks that yard and wind compared to my other dogs but he has some power and drive ....an easy hound to train and a natural early starter....I just havent got the graft he deserved last season due to work but theres plenty time yet

    we have to see it for what it is Celtic have a squad under £15 million and we were playing a team whos squad is worth over £260 million who are playing top Itailian teams week in week out and we are playing very poor sides each week ...we went down 2-0 very early in the match and got a 3 all draw so we are justified to be celebrating and credit where credits due .     Another good friend of mine who had a bull cross that had been brought up with horses as his daughter and wife rode ....clamped onto the masters horse one day while hunting (it was the lad in questions first day at this hunt ) ...I never witnessed it as I was away but the master had to unmount and watch the dog course the horse for a few kilometres across the hill . Once again the lad thought the dog was 100% but with livestock dogs can be given another change but when its horses then you have humans involved and as he said you could have a child riding a horse and it happened again so the do

    For me one of the first thing I ask lads when I take them out is are there hounds broken to livestock but accidents can happen ....years ago I was out with a member on here for the first time on his ground and we were heading out on the hill to check some holes it was -18 so I had a few jackets on and looked like a spaceman with spades and terrier in toe ....Tigger was young at the time was off the slip and hadnt been out for 6 weeks due to injury so he was a frisky due to lack of work ....to cut a long story short a group of hinds got up in the distance and he winded them and set off across

    there is some blood of the dams side heading over to Oz soon Sorry fellas I must have been drunk when I posted that as I forgot I wrote it and stumbled across it just now, if you could give me more details about the dog coming and where and when I would love to see it. When I get on thl I keep an eye out for razor threads for some reason he really impresses me even through a computer and the pups are all looking s%&t hot too. Atb.     I dont know about trout flies but most sucessful salmon flies these days seem to be the boars whisker types snaeldas francis types ...I had 11 salmon on a black francis last season and the new intruder style flies seem to be all the rage for this season ....
