  1. Why wood you wont staying power in the greyhound thats whot the saluki is for you need speed from the greyhound well thats my view mate Yes, would seem that way and in some cases, sprinters are used for this purpose, however, the greyhound bitch in question, has both and has produced some top class dogs in the passed that have been plenty fast enough for running over here.
  2. Their is a couple couple of 10 month old pups over here in ireland, well bred and unspoiled sister to them killed 4 big ears last week. Sound pups, ready to work now, might only be a dog pup left now, not sure till i ask. Sire mike, full saluki, dam, excellent bred staying greyhound.
  3. My friend ordered 2 whippet collars off them last year and he never got them, tryd e.mail, phone calls the lot, nothing! Bad order...

  8. Fair fucks to the man, i would of cut his legs off and beat him to death with them!!!!!!!!!! It should be the same here in Ireland as well..
  9. 999 priority?????/..............wtf, i have heard it all now. I bet if you rang 999 over their if someone was getting robbed, stabbed ect, they would take their time, ring 999 to report hare coursing, and the whole army comes out in a flash....crazy!!!!!
  10. About 2 weeks, lead walk only, no running. It usually comes about from running them on hard ground.
  11. Any news on this mating, did she have the pups ok?
  12. She is old now and has been over bred in my opinion, she has ended up round the corner from me.
  13. Very warm over here still and ground in many parts hard. I am sticking to boggy areas for keeping them fit. A coupe of weeks ago, their was some rain and the ground was a wee bit softer, got some running then, but all quiet at the moment, lats hope it rains a bit soon, trouble is here in Ireland, when it starts to rain, it does not know when to fecking stop..lol
  14. When i had a .223, i use to fire the Hornady 40gr v max and they cut foxes in half!!! They penetrated well and done a LOT of damage!! Foxes out to 300yds plus, dropped like a stone. !!
  15. That is very sad to hear, that dog has been around a while i think and to have it gone like that in a blink of an eye, is awful, really hope he gets him back and someone shoot the c**ts that did it!!!!
  16. Shit, that's a shock for you i bet, as he was coming on very well, sorry to hear that, pure bad luck that and a freak accident, r.i.p Bob...!

  19. Unbelievable...............!!!!!! What kind of heartless c**t would do such a thing..!! I really hope he gets his dog back. Ill keep a look out here, good luck on getting him back, keep us posted.
  20. Some great pics folks, cheers. As i said, they seem to be very good for over here, with small fields ect, id say, bred back to a good saluki, would bring up the stamina and the resulting pups would run better on the bigger land if made the grade.
  21. If the right greyhound is found, from what i have seen, in the passed and of late, most of the litter seem to do very well in the field. Mike seems to click well with well bred greyhound bitches.
  22. I think, for here in Ireland, for the type of land we have, its hard to beet a good, first x saluki greyhound as a allrounder. Just heard yesterday from a fella that bred a litter, a well bred 10 month pup first x from the litter, killed 3 big rabbits the other day, bred out of Mike and a very good greyhound bitch. Rest of the litter are doing well too. I have had this cross in the passed and found them to excel on most things put to them, not just big rabbits. A good one has the speed and stamina, to run all day here in Ireland, turn well ect. Their has been many good 1st crosses over h
