  2. if its the one i think it is its about 30ftlbs we used them a good few years ago on a caravan park shooting rabbits on the banking etc they did a reasonable job... specially in that enviroment a 40 grain would of been to much with a bigger richochet chance
  3. tigtht fistedness has nothing to do with it...being able to deal with a cut or a bump at the scene or as soon as you get home limits suffering as much as possible...having the knoledge to save you dogs life or to prevent further suffering is what id call a must for the serious dogman/hunter... my vet bills are pretty high as is i know my limits of what i can and cant do... when one of my dogs suffered a twisted gut this year i got him to the vets as i knew he only had a couple of hours to live tops..thankfully he did survive although the bill was £500 opening him up in the shoot carpark with

  10. you dont have to shave or put drains in but some tears need a space or two to be able to drain and heal...heres a nasty rip my lurcher bitch had took 12 staples if i remember it was also a corner rip but the top tear was stapled leavind about an 1nch loose between her eyes for the drain to seep naturally she was brought indoors to heal and injected with mastitis tube everyday to force any shit through....

  14. met this dog a couple of times hes a real gentleman and from what the story goes those that have seen him work before he ended up in the state he did he was a good dog...im sure hel do someone proud an honest dog deserves an honest chance!!!

  21. a 3/4 bred would be ideal althought there are some 2nd 3rd 4th gen bull bred dogs out there... anything up to about 25" for foxes is ideal as they have the weight to draw... if you want an out an out draw dog then a 1/2 cross is ideal providing the bull is a racey type!

A whippet greyhound aint even a lurcher,its a longdog, 2 sighthounds xd, As for the feller that said depends what you want them for, ALROUNDER?and 23inch dogs pulling fallow single handed?, what dream was that in? what is this place?   25. from what i gather the dogos are a very pack orientated dog they do well in the family enviroment and are bred to work together as a team... as for kenneling i couldnt say as i dont know any personally i know a few over here but dont know the kenneling situation i guess you could come home to an almighty mess if something went wrong!!
