So the bull x is the finest allrounder? as already said thats a very bold statement and one a lot of knowledgeable dogmen would laugh at.Me i take as i find and whilst i've seen some fine specimens,i dont think they compare to a well bred collie/grey as a genuine allrounder. My old man bred and worked collie/greys for nearly 40 years, and im sure if he thought he was missing out on something he'd have got him self a bull x. I dont think bull x's are any more agressive than any other lurcher, the worry is that a powerfull dog like a bull x can do a lot more damage than say a beddiexwhippet.I have

Thats because thats what you want to hear...... My beddy whippet bitch is alot sharper than my bull crosses, i wouldnt trust her not to snap if the baby pulled her hair but i 100% trust mick, neila and blitz with kids. Obviously a baby wouldnt be left alone with any of our dogs but if i had to choose one to leave her with it would be mick (the dog in the pictures) I got bit on my ass by a collie when visiting a local farm, the woman came running to the door and said oooo dont turn your back on the dog, too late! it was already latched onto my bum! it bloody hurt too. was the

I keep bull crossers not because i wanna look hard or take pics when my dogs look like rambo after three films i keep them because i like to hunt bigger game as well as rabbits i also keep them because as a breed the lurcher has evolved...the bull cross has evolved into the best alrounder available they breed well they breed to type, geneticaly they have no problems...physycally they are sounder than most....wastage is minimal....it does piss me off when i see kids and adults alike posting pics of theyre dogs smashed to peices as it does damage our sport/way of life.....i dont slate anyone who

Worming a pregnant bitch from day 40?
Garypco replied to labsnlurchers's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
Yeah, i have had 2 litters and did as i am doing in this one and i havent had any problems with worms. I have heard of people having bad pups or reabsorbed pups from worming them though never heard anything bad from not worming aslong as they are done before mating and at 2 weeks old. if you need some drontal let me know ive got a bit here not got loads spare as ive got enought to do my lot but il spare a couple for the bitch... Hello Jakk I wouldn't bother with the Weimaraner as I have never seen or heard or a good working strain of them. You are best with a GSP or GWP, but get a bitch cos they are much easier to train. Once you have a good one you will never ever go hawking with out a dog again. Everything from Lark, Blackbird, Rabbit, Pheasant or any hawking that you can think of they will do it all. I have have only had two dogs in my life, first dog Brittany for 13 years, and now a GWP Bitch at 4 years. Both excellent dogs in but the GWP is more versatile. Both just faconry dogs mainly with
