    My sentiments too. I believe they should be kept as wild as you can, within the constraints of 'captive breeding'.........otherwise, it is just keeping a glorified Canary. However, I also understand there are times we have to help..if it is having to use lights, so be it. this light is for my canarys ,not my british they bred in outside flights

    we have parson jack russells for the sport not the money ,weve sold dogs to people who travel from yorkshire down to norfolk ,cos people asking to much money

    noticed plenty of chickweed about this year ,mainly in the sugar beet fields hard to find last year must be this mild winter ,wondered if thats why the goldies not feeding on the niger not seen many so far this year

    just got basic timer six on morning till 9 am that will do me ,bird man told me he been doing this for 30 years ,cos im a slow starter ha ha

    first time ive used a light timer ,seems to be doing the trick ,never had canarys on eggs this early before

    albert 64 thats how i do mine now ,but the sprouter has 3 stacking trays & drip tray ,seen it last week in cage & aviary page 12 gona give it a try just wonderd if anyone has used them ?
