    I was not refering to everybody,s dogs or bitches, i was talking aboutwithin my own. I find its down to the individual dog not it being male or female.

    Bang on and good advice. IMO any average rabbit dog can easily have its stamina built up to bag 30s with frequent trips to well populated area's.

    Drainage is important when building dog runs for ease of cleaning. There are arguments for having roof or no roof on the runs, I personally like no roof on. 1 meter by 6 ft sounds quite small, mine are near enough 6 x 12 ft.

    Some dogs tended to wait for deer to bounce of a fence or make a mistake etc etc before they got hold or made a catch, wonder if they were trying to herd the deer instead of catching it? Then again maybe not because this behaviour was also common in crosses without any collie in there makeup

    There is a lad with a pure in the local town he uses it for ratting ferreting and a bit of lamping, its forte is rats the lad is always round the back of fast food shops, in parks, basically anywhere there is waste food or rats. That collie accounts for a lot of rats. The lad and this collie often tour round the fast food vans you see in lay bye's looking for rats out the back of them. The lad and the collie are obsessed with ratting

    Correct me if I am wrong but if there is anything remotely illegal about that sign should the countryside alliance not take it up? they have had enough donations given to them by honest lurcher folk who go about working there dogs legally Even suggesting wires are strung out intentionally to harm dogs is surely wrong?
