  2. That is a very kind offer captain, really like these irish bred dogs they run well on the land I go on and they seem to be keen to run at an early age,got to get some photos developed I'll send a few over to you with that dvd cheers mate
  3. It is'nt all just big wide open fenland over here jigsaw, there is plenty of hill farms with dry stone walls,, double barbed wire fences, thick hawthorn hedgerows etc,you never hear of lads catching big numbers of hares on the small land over here, not single handed daytime anyway
  4. As long as whatever quarry caught is put to good use and not just hunted for sport to be left to rot, does it really matter if it is taken day or night,it is more likely you would get a more challenging run for the dog in the daytime, but lamping is more about restocking your freezer
  5. That looks like one of them anti bloodsports lurchers, unless it was just broken to deer aswell as sheep, you've got no chance of having venison casserole for dinner,or was the thai tattooist loaded on fire water
  6. Cannibalism anyone? Taboo I know but you could feed plenty with lifes wasters, illegals etc ah there wouldnt be much eating in one of them antis once you cleaned them out Dont come with much substance the old antis, suppose the anorexics could have them as a starter
  7. Proper dogs and a nice bit of land all the best with them
  8. Thanks mate yep surprising how they can throw to different breeds Was thinking that too. That dog could have looked like anything. I'm gonna have to rethink my idea of 1/4 saluki being ok, if the dog turns out looking like that only kidden pal, good looking dog mate Haha your a saluki lad deep down baw you know you are haha cheers mate Atb JDI might just be after reading they can catch 12/12 wonder if that was 12 in 12 months Haha we're u read that then aha lol Atb JDDice thread mate, on the fens in winter too Haha  sounds legit aye mate, think it was on the lamp with an airri
  9. Nothing easier than to persecute the common man,and his simple interests,I have wondered if these antis have anything of interest in their own misinformed banner waving lives,I have seen too much destruction of green places in the so called name of development, huge office blocks sitting empty in the hope that someone might want to rent it at some time, and the miserable new housing estates that are thrown up almost overnight, same old story money talks and everything else can go to hell
  10. Never overlook the smallest pup in a litter, sometimes they are perfectly formed just small, there was 2 runts in a litter I bred, they were medium sized and both had undershot jaws
  11. Pair of Y fronted duds back to front, she'll look the business in them, get her the realtree pattern ones
  12. Pups born in the summer are said to get off to a good start, more sunlight so a good time for vitamin D production
  13. Like the look of him j looks a lot like one of mine, surprised by his breeding though
  14. One thing you cannot judge on looks alone is how durable a dogs feet are
  15. You are as keen as they come captain, sure you will bring the best out of all your dogs,I am craving a pup ,but trying to find a job is the priority for me at the minute,my youngest dog will be 8 year old on the last day of july, his running style is identical to the red irish bred dog i've got,his sister looks very like your red bitch, the lad who owns her got her as his first dog off me when she was 10 months old, she's as agile as a cat, very short coupled with a real thick saddle and thick back legs,he's caught a lot of strong ones on the hilly land with all the bumpy ground and wire fences,I c
  16. I am not running the dog early .... Infact I am trying to take her places where there is no game .... Oh and I can guarantee that I will not ruin this bitch ............... You certainly wont, some dogs know their purpose before they even see the land or the quarry,I dare say you have one,all the best, happy days are coming your way,me thinks
  17. I know G hosker lined one or two greyhounds with a doxhope dog and the pups we're sent over to america, they we're good stuff over here, think they might have been of some use to the coyote men, hope so anyway
  18. You seem to have quite a variety of saluki breeding there captain, maybe you could breed a new line of dogs that can do the business on any land, hope you enjoy testing your dogs on the big land next season, sure you will enjoy yourself whatever happens atb mate
  19. Flacko wants dog food, not one up the bum
  20. Any dog that lurches can be called a lurcher regardless of breed explain ? If a dog comes up on it's quarry, and slows down slightly, and attempts to pick up it,s prey when it turns by cutting to one side, rather than overshooting,The dog has learn't how to lurch, this is the reason why coursing greyhounds dont get ran too often as they wont clock the points up unless they are forcing a hare to turn, rather than hanging back until the hare decides to turn and allows the dog a chance to cut the corner and pick the hare up side on you need to sit yourself down and have a word with yourself ffs
  21. Sounds like it might be easier for you to buy a pup
