  1. Nice one mate, good on ya! Been married just over a year myself.
  2. All the banter aside, congratulations to England on reaching the final of the rugby world cup twice in a row. What makes the U.k a great country, is the fact that 4 totally different countries live side by side, and can take a lot of stick off one another and not take it too seriously. It's been great having a laugh with all of you, over the last couple of days, we'll see you at the Six nations!
  3. Sorry to hear of your loss mate. She will never be replaced, but she'll live on forever in your heart, i'm sure.
  4. We only know the taste of sour grapes here in wales mate!
  5. Nice one Boks, now we won't have another 4 years of it!! My mate from across the park, just ran round the estate naked in celebration! I wish i'd have had a camera!
  6. It's not too difficult to remove them with a cleaning rod, however if you have any doubts, take it to a gun shop, as others have stated.
  7. Nice one mate, keep at 'em!
  8. Been frosty here in pembrokeshire in the mornings, all week. Going out for a mooch tommorow morning with a few of the lads and a selection of ferts. Took my 4 year old boy last week, he was very well behaved and took an interest in everything. Poor bugger was knackered when we got home! Taking one of my daughters with us tommorow, hoping for a few. Good luck and happy hunting to all!

    Lamps

If you're using it for lamping rabbits, then the brightist isn't always the best. Also, if you're lamping in an area that has seen a fair bit of lamping, then it would be well worth investing in one with a coloured lens filter. I use a red one, and the rabbits hardly move. I think I read somewhere that rabbits have a problem seeing red light. Another thing to consider, is the weight of it. Years ago, my old man had a huge bulky thing that was very awkward to heave about for hours. I use a deben tracer, one of the small ones, and I have more luck with it than my mate who has got a much bigger
  10. We're only disliked by you english, you lot are hated the world over!
  11. My ferrets flushed a pair of Acorn Electrons out of a bury last night, I was hoping for some rabbits because they're a lot easier to dispatch. I had keys all over the deck and everything!
  12. I thought it was still legal to hunt rats with dogs. Was it tresspass he got done with then?
  13. I can't argue against that Smudge, you're spot on mate! Edited to say, Although, what happened last time you came back as world champions? You came to Cardiff and got beaten! Sorry mate, couldn't resist!

    Happy Birthday

Nooooooooooooooo! I felt bad enough saying goodbye to my 20's before!
  15. Because it's the airgun world equivalent of "Nice Dog! How's It Bred, Mate???" Exactly. And it seems that more power is an excuse for lack of fieldcraft. spot on mate. Good fieldcraft is alot more important than having a good gun. You can more or less kill a rabbit by hitting it on the head with the the arse end of the gun, if your field skills are good enough! The best advice to give to a newcomer is to practice, practice, practice. You can never do enough.

    Happy Birthday

Not too bad at the moment, probably be feeling it at around 11ish tonight though! (with any luck!)

    Happy Birthday

    Thanks Kay, dirty 30! Arrgghh!
  18. Yeah, I know the type! You shouldn't be allowed to shoot an airgun unless you can get a half inch grouping at a million yards in a force 9 gale!
  19. Not a bad price now at 15 quid! We holiday in Devon/Cornwall every couple of years, might give me an excuse to take the gun with me the next time we go. £15 would get me a few hours away from the wife & screaming kids!!!! On a serious note, I could see how this sort of thing might appeal to people from the cities, after all not everybody is blessed with miles & miles of beautifull countyside to wander about in. If more people from the city were encouriged to actually participate and therefore gain an understanding of our way of life, & of the need to control vermin, it co
  20. I agree with you Al, I'm a member of BBS, but I don't post there anymore. I came across a post where some young lad had posted a thread asking for advice as he had just bought his first gun, and needed some help with regards to shooting magpies. You wouldn't belive some of the replies, mostly arrogant insults about not buying a gun if you can't use it properly and all that, and some downright nasty, bitchy bo**ocks as well. At least the lad had asked for what he thought was advice from people with experience. At least the people on this site take the time to actually give some helpfull,
  21. Ha Ha, says you! Mate, I think we'll have to agree to disagree! Give me Welsh passion and flair against English brute strength and power anyday! If we play to our strengths like we did in 2005, instead of playing to everyone elses, like lately, your boys wouldn't get near ours!
  22. Do you know anything about the history of the game? We're only just behind England in the northern hemisphere when it comes to 4/5/6 nation wins. No we havn't won the world cup, but you wouldn't have won it if not for Wilkinson! The way your boys play rugby is tantamount to cheating within the rules. Get the ball in a ruck, slow the game down with your big forwards so that the oppisition concedes penalties because they get fustrated trying to get to the ball, so that they can get back to playing the game properly. Then get Wilko to kick the points, (he is good though, you boys must have s
