  1. did any of that litter do any good ? Not that I know of Brog, you know about the two dogs, the two bitches got sick as pups and never recovered properly and the dog the fella kept is supposed to be working but there's work and there's work
  2. The circular needles were a skin test for the later TB jab, the vaccination on the sugar lump was for Polio The fuss about Measles is that it can be fatal in very young children as well the possibillity of deafness and blindness in older children All of these very nasty diseases are on the rise due to a lack of vaccinations in young children The chicken pox was the one we all got sent to catch as it was believed that once you had it once it was done with, more cobblers !!
  3. Why would the Arsepca spend any money treating an animal that is in dire need ? They would much rather waste hundreds of thousands of pounds of both donations and tax payers money chasing fairy tales, complete waste of of a Royal charter :censored:
  4. I just had a two and a half year wait and it all came to nothing, good breeding and more chances than enough but just didn't have the balls needed for the job As we all know you can only do the best you can, the rest is up to them

  8. Do what you think is best for your wife, a Hospice is a kinder environment for the terminally ill, but home is a familiar environment where she may be more comfortable emotionally, its your call and what ever you decide will be the right thing for you both All the best to you GJ
  9. You are right Malt and I could make half a job of it but the tiles cost a bloody fortune and I want it to look the best it can, given the time I could do it, just the same as the electrics and the woodwork but it's horses for courses and all that Just pulling your leg mate, a bit of inter trade banter from an ex plasterer! Two trades that can't get away with anything are brickies and spreads, if its no good it comes down again
  10. How many meters of tiling is in your bathroom, 20? f**k me, that's alot. Is he tiling around the bathroom or has he got an empty room? I'd be charging £20 a m2 unless you wanted some sort of pattern Its about 20 metres pegleg, the walls are back to the plaster etc, I think the so called tilers are in league with the so called plumbers, trademen my arse

  12. I have to deal with all different trades and there is a reason that these poxy eastern europeans have swamped our industry, Attitude They will do anything anytime and anywhere, granted they will make a bollocks of it most of the time but they are cheap and above all cheerful I used to be a carpenter, complete waste of time now days as every one with a hardpoint saw is a chippy and are happy for their £50 a day Most of the work on site now can be done by an average DIY enthusiast so it's not the skilled job it once was An example is my own bathroom, need a tiler so call a bloke from trades

  15. I'm looking into getting a 4x4 I have a few requirements, must do 30+ to the gallon Then its got to be a suzuki vitara, RangeRover or Disco is juicy with low 20's, defender is juicy and about the same, jap trucks all late 20's early thirtys if you drive like an old lady 4x4 that's off road capable and fuel economy just doesn't go together , so if you don't mind a roller skate designed for hairdressers then the Suzuki is your motor
  16. I had the left cartilage sorted out in 96, supposed to be key hole surgery, I woke up with a knee like a swiss cheese and was then told sorry we may have damaged the nerve behind the knee cap, well they were right, off my feet for almost 6 weeks, the good news is that 19 years later the scars have gone, the pain has gone but the knees as wobbly as ever

  21. Good to see a few lads willing to give our cousins from across the pond a day out, who knows you could get a return offer when these lads go back home
  22. Looks like a great collar and I had a two buckle leather collar from the states when I was 12, that was a very long time ago, didn't look much different to SS new strong dog collar so I would think the design is more common sense than intelectual property !! Keep up the good work
  23. All very nice those, and an unusual grind on the first one
