anyway at least you got sorted out as best you could.... used wound powder for a nasty accident a while back, with a barb wire incident, not my dog but a strangers... think insurance would be a good way to go if your gonna continue to work the dogs... my save you lots in the long run... ATB. Snap.

Don't forget for a little rim fire round this things tripping out velocity wise at 2550fps roughly... if you want performance you gotta remember you wont silence the sonic crack.. if you buy a mod at twice or three times the price of the sak by ear you will NOT notice the difference, so save your money, and use it for buying more rounds.....lol happy hunting Snap.

IF the shooter is new to the game then, they SHOULD NOT shoot until they can place a shot consecutively where they need it to be..... Larger calibres will lead to new shooters or beginners to flinching.... and its a hard habit to overcome when you get the fear of pulling the trigger... knowing our own personal limitations is what makes us proficient.... i've shot plenty large reds with no issues, i had a 6.5x55 but sold it due to needing cash, and the .243 was my primary gun for long range foxing, etc.. i loved the two calibres... but seeing as i had no trouble droping deer at distance ..... the .243 stayed...... Ability simple as, if you don't have the ability, larger calibres can only get you so far..... A poor shot WITH any calibre is still a poor shot... the larger calibre's are just that little bit MORE forgiving... Snap.

I've seen deer shot to pieces sue to poor marksmanship, and its nothing to do with the calibre as it was shot with a 30-06, marksmanship first and formost.. bullet choice for species... second... if you dont have the skill to place the shot any any deer species... don't take it simple as... i see lads changing calibre yearly due to poor marksmanship, and blaming calibre, NO CHATING TO THEM>... numpties...... Snap.

bit of info for you on the nose camera its capable of reading a car numberplate from 9 miles away ...!!!! read that years ago and couldn't get my head around it... simply awesome. cheers guys. Snap.

Hi mate..... All i'd advise from here on is that you shoot the .270 and see how you feel after a few rounds downrange... Also try the .308, and 6.5, if you can... Snap.

not really an issue, in rimfire's mate, but yes because the hmr is so fast a little round i shot mine in but only fired about 10 through and then cleaned.. for about 3 times i think i did it... sure it wont hurt..... Snap.

MAke sure theres no pitting in the barrels, that the stock and butt have no obvious signs of cracks, that the safety works, action is tight on locking... shouldn't have much trouble but you always can judge a man by any of his guns so if your going to buy privately take a look at the rest also if he lets you... even if it just for conversation purposes just ask what else do you shoot....? and take it from there....
