  8. two hundred yard shots are in good conditions, as for the cross-hair i've the 1/8 min dot on the hawke target 10x40. i've had one of the first hmr's in ireland, shooting crows and mags at 200, only would never try fox at this range, with it, even though i only shot the one with it to see it's capabilities..

  14. a friend of mine in the north had the same problem, he and some mates let the car that was causing the trouble into the estate, once in they closed it off with an old car, the car was doing doughnuts only to drive up the estate and find the exit closed, then they pulled up in a van threw the lads into it, drove for about 3 and a half hours around the area and dropped them about 10 miles away, up an old dirt road. now thinking they were miles away shit a brick, balaclava's on warned them the next time they entered the estate, be it for a social or acting the c**t tha they would be digging thei
  15. cheers for that remmy. shoot 95 gr nosler, myself great job but i'd be a bit doubtfull about the 87grain on deer, as it's a varmint round, did you ever have any runners? also do you always leave the coat on the carcas? most here skin them on the cleaning out....

  18. CHRIST CRAMP I'M ONLY AFTER MY DINNER, WARNING WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE  I'M ONLY GOING TO USE THIS LOAD FOR LONG RANGE FOXING, 400+ YARDS, as it has a great bc. it will hold the wind better..... cheers mate
  19. crows, mags, rabbits, 200 or a little more if you got enough elevation in the scope. not recommended for fox but head shot will kill at 100 to 130 yards, excellent little weapon, very accurate, go for it.
  20. The distances that swat shoots within is in the region of 100 to two hundred yards in urban areas. Also professional bodies haves budgets too. yes they are great build quality, hold zero, etc, Try the 700 to 1000 yard mark even if you don't shoot pick something out and then the difference will show......
  21. SPRAGS Never a truer word said, but for shooting i think theres more different aspects to be covered, stalking, reloading, scopes, rifles, rangefinders, bullet chioce, hence the extra space, my two cents............hunting is hunting be it with a rifle, or dog, or bird........ it's what joins us all in common bond...............................GROUP HUG....
  22. met him at the donegal intl rally, driving the metro, a true gentleman, and role model for the sport, HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED.
  23. i usually run in one shot clean, one shot clean for about 35 to 40 rounds, slow but good you'd need to give it a good clean at 5 shots i'd say with more than a snake.
