  3. i take it you copied & pasted that ! f**k typing that out !
  4. do you mean to help guide it in ? when i recorded this footage for test purposes only, i was only 4 metres away from the trap laying next to my mrs sunbathing on the lawn. he walked round a few times & thought about going in, wasnt to sure at first but his belly got the better of him.
  5. why cant you just use it "sideways" it will give you an indication where the ferret is, and indeed, if it is still in the burrow. I've packed ferreting in now, but if i were ever to get back into it, i wouldnt drop a ferret in a burrow without a locater collar on. I dont see the point in paying for one and not being able t use it very well. After all they never used to use them yeah, & people never use to have cars !
  6. top job ! how much were the materials & how long to put it together ? because at that standard theres no reason why you couldnt start supplying them. rich
  7. smoking ferrets out ! never heard such bollocks !
  8. so, you think it's neccessary to have a terrier LRF, yet are asking if a ferret one is needed, does that mean you dont value ferrets as much but ditch, how do you consider something, that had'ent been invented i'd say with a terrier he's using one so he dig's down straight to it proberly he has a terrier that stay's till dug to, were as with the ferret's if you just net the hole's job done if the ferret do get hold of one and stay eating it you can alway's smoke them out alot faster than digging to them in my opion i prefere using smaller ferret's that way when they

  20. yeah... the one i bought was too small so i took the front section off & built around it. its now 5.5 ft. got 2 hutches in a shed thats 7ft x 7ft & leave them open so they have plenty of room to wonder, but whilst the kits are so young i leave them locked up untill there big enough to mix with the adult hobs. i let them out once a day for a run around. also put some wood effect lino on the floor so its easy to clean.
