ive only had it a while..... their made from 5mm steel & most of the energy is lost by them not been rigid.. the paint chippings are only surface damage, i reckon theyll have plenty of life in them... probably sounds obvious, but make sure you get the ones made for .22lr... a while back i destroyed a cheap version made for air rifles " dont ask "

HI john what did you put the none chambering down to ? i was looking closely when i was pushing the bolt forward & all i could see was the bullet head not sliding freely.. strange. ive still got 100 left, ill try them down the club in the morning.. i picked the spinner up from the gun shop for £25, before this i was using a piece of 6mm steel x 18" x 18" & resting it against a tree... the only bad design with this spinner target is that the idea is to shoot all four spinning targets & they rest on a bar, to release them you have to hit another target on top to dro

i dont walk anywhere now.. yeah, thats the only thing i found bad with them, the feeding of the first round in the magazine.... maybe its because of the roughness of the bullet which stops it sliding into position... actually, it just goes to show how hard a bunny gets whacked at that distance ! rich

ive always used eley subs in my cz as i have found these to be the most reliable & accurate, but i went to my local dealer to pick-up some more & he had sold out.. so instead i got a few hundred CCI subsonics to try out... i was quite happy with the accuracy & the consistantcy, but i must admit, i found that they didnt feed well as the first round in the mag didnt want to go in the pipe. does anyone else use CCI ? pro`s & cons please... i took a short clip of the test, the first shot was a bit high though as i snagged the first shot... other than that, the other 9

went out tonight to stock up on some food for the ferrets, plus the farmer has been asking me to clear a few from a certain piece of land, i had to oblige ..... as soon as i pulled up at the farm i was greeted by a maggie at 75yards sitting in the field, so i returned the greeting with an eley ! anyway, had a drive around to see where i was going to be plotted up & got comfortable, i was waiting for them to appear from a hedge line... sat back & relaxed for a bit & got my gear ready.. sitting there all set-up, rifle resting on the wing mirror, then suddenl

a while back, i was in the same situation.... one of my hobs was exactly the same as yours, took him down the vet late sunday night, the vet told me he wouldnt make it & to be honest i thought the same, but i asked him to give him antiboitics & i kept him indoors for 2 weeks where me & the mrs hand fed him malt paste at first as he was too weak to eat any solids.. luckly enough he made a good recovery.... i hope all goes well with your jill, keep us informed, i hope she will be alright...

out with TED, SQUEEK & BERT, my new 3 month old kit.... i arrived on the site at 9.30am... had a quick chat with the owner of the house, she said " im glad you came over, theres 1000`s of rabbits in my garden " think she might have a touch of what the local farmers have ! ".. mind you, theres loads that make their way in from the field opposite at night, but 1000`s ?? as usual, i went to the smaller part of the garden that has a private lawn at the rear of the house that is seperate from the main garden. this part is raised about a meter from the rest of the land & su

richie replied to richie's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns

i will be trying it tomorrow with my stainless one aswell, so ill let you know.. i read on the back of the CILLIT BANG that its not reccommended to be used with enamel, aliminium, certain painted surfaces, ect ect. but to be honest after cleaning it last time i needed the extra power.... ill probably get up in the morning & look at the mod will of melted ! the way i remove mine was to put a thick dish cloth over the front & use the adjustable spanner to remove it, i push the spanner down being carefull that it doesnt slip off.. i take it youve burred the metal of yo -
thought id open the SAK & give it a clean, was quite surprised how much shit was in it after approx 500 rounds... the first time i cleaned a SAK it was a bollock ache by just soaking it in WD40... i used a different method this time.. placed it in a sealed tub & soaked it in wd40 & left it for 30 minutes... after opening it i still found the resedue hard.. put it in the tub for 20 minutes with CILLIT BANG... found it alot easier this time to take all the crud from inside by rubbing it gently with a dish sponge using the abrasive side
