Hi mate , i agree 100% with charlie caller and mr logic. I use a .22K hornet ( Ruger 77 )and load it up with 10.2gns of Vit N110 and a 40gn sierra blitz king head, gives around 2900 fps and is lethal on fox out to 200yds or so. ( take care mine is a K hornet and can be be loaded about 10% more than standard hornet)Any way i think its a great little tool for the job--quieter than other centrefires (when moderated )cheap & easy to reload, accurate, and no recoil to speak of. Some people will say this calibre is more or less obsolete or old hat, DONT believe them still plenty of shooters use
