if they dont make the grade and you can find them a nice home,where they will be loved,fed well and in the warm then i would get the dog neutered so they cant be bred from and pass them on.

just keep a eye on them mate they may be fine,but watch out for signs of aggresion when the bull x gets a bit older,if he tries to dominate and your older dog wont let him you may have blood on your hands

how big is it inside,i personally wouldnt bother,they probably stay nice and warm curled up together,if they were uncomfortable they would sleep in seperate kennels

for the big deer you do need a bull x really,just because of their jaw power,and will to hold on,but as catch dogs a good fast saluki x is a lot better imo,took many big fallow before the ban with the saluki x's.

you will find that majority of the dogs that are started early wont have much lung and will suffer muscle and joint problems later in life,as they havent had enough time as a pup to fully develop.

maybe a question for the irish lads,what hare would you say is the best test,irish hare or brown hare,i was always led to believe that the brown hare was much stronger and a better test than the irish hare,is this correct?whats your comments?

yeah i never run my bitches untill 11-12 months and dog 12 months at the earliest,i will give them a few dropped rabbits before this just to teach them what their mouth is for

it depends on the circumstances,a lot of dogs jack because idiots take them out and expect them to run hares for 3 mins or more,its like us trying to run a marathon without training its just not practicle.on the other hand if they are 100% and jack they need to get checked out and rested,then try them again if they do it again and again you need to stop running them on whatever they are jacking on,the problem lies with the breed in some circumstances,because you can run greyhounds time and time again on hares they will run untill they cant run no more and have to stop,and the next time you tak

years ago when i was a kid,my mate had a russell dog,a brilliant rabbiting dog,used to catch rabbits regular in the day,yet it wouldnt touch my mates sisters pet rabbits

depends on the individual dog,ive seen and own saluki x's with different coats,they seem to have better coats than most of the bull x's my mates own,as to training,just be patient dont screem and shout as they dont take well to anger,when they seem like theyre looking right through you,its more than likely they are deep in thought,just take your time they are not the dull dog that everybody thinks,they just need a different approach to training

good on you for taking it to the vets,but from what i can see on the pic i would of left it,you would of been suprised how quick they heel,and a cut always looks worse the next day,when i started working lurchers,i used to panic over cuts and spent hundreds getting dogs stitched up when they didnt need it,but as with everything you learn what needs stitches and what doesnt,but you did the right thing,if your ever in doubt take the dog to the proffesionals

yeah it is a first tote,but if my greyhounds become top quality i wont risk ruinning them with a jab.

if my dogs wont eat for one day i get concerned,as they are gready buggers.if my dog hadnt eaten for 5 days i would take it to the vets,personally i would have taken her on the third day if she hadnt eaten,but thats me.i always say its better to be safe than sorry.

unless absolutely necessary i would stay well clear of those injections,i hear nothing but bad things about them,they take form away fom dogs

whats fieldmarshall gona do if theres nothing on the farms next year?he does those same 2 farms twice a week,he will have to give up dogs as hes to scared to go lamping anywhere else
