  1. I use mine for shooting at night and find it great as there's no noise from it at all when moving about. It's also great for rolling about on the ground when ferreting. It's still fairly new and hasn't been washed yet so the charcoal lining is still fine. Only thing is the velcro pockets which make a hell of a noise on quieter nights and they're definitely not shower/waterproof. Are they worth 10 quid? Definitely
  2. That's a great project rifle mate. Get the fella to strip it down and go for it
  3. Sorry i can't give you definite answer mate but all i would say is that most un-regged rifles can be regged so i don't see why a Huntsman can't. You would probably be best joining the Daystate forum...if there is 1...as there will be dedicated Daystate tuners on there Just out of curiosity...how many shots are you getting per fill?
  4. Do you know what it's putting out as Ox springs usually need to be chopped? Any pics?
  5. Spot on mate though i find mine to be quite warm and comfortable when it's cold out. I had mine on tonight when out and was well snug in it It will be in the beginning mate but as the charcoal lining breaks down you are left with a cheap outer layer that lets the cold in ....... I've noticed that mate. I 've had it on half dozen or so times and there's wear already. At least it only cost a tenner
  6. My Weimaraner has clear nails so hers are easy to clip as i can see the quick but my GSP and Whippet both have black nails so i only nip the tips off when they get a bit long...probably once a month or so. If you can't see the quick, don't be tempted to take off too much as there's a lot of nerves in there and you'll get a yelp and a lot of blood and the dog will not let you near them again

  8. I'll 2nd that. They're great for the money. Loads of pockets and as tough as leather. Type DPM jacket into ebay ;-)
  9. Hi mate. The NBC suits aren't water repellent in any way shape or form. Water goes through them like a seive. I've had mine on in light rain and showers and been soaked...........and to sya that you haven't jumped on the man's bandwagon is a load of shite. The man's tryin to sell some suits and you've steam rollered right in. Where's the forum etiquette? You could've at least started your own thread!!!
  10. Aye 270mm right enough haha So is it not a standard 9-13mm dovetail type on Theobens??? I was gonna edit it but i thought i'd leave it up and take the hit on it haha
  11. Understand mate but what you have to realise is that very few people will give out such information due to legislation, even as a PM. You could be anybody. To the best of my knowledge, recently manufactured rifles have anti-tamper measures inbuilt so that they cannot be adjusted by anyone other than the manufacturer or someone with an in depth knowledge of a particular rifle. Try a heavyweight pellet any see how it goes. PS. My mate bought a new 97k and when i ran it over the chrono it was doing 10.5 FPE after he'd put a tin of pellets through it and it kills rabbits stone dead at
  12. I'm not being cheeky mate but what's the difference between Theoben mounts and any other 300mm mounts?
  13. I'm more a .22 man but i would think that that pellet should give you a higher reading than 10 FPE. I would definitely try a some Bis Mags and take it from there
  14. What pellet did you use for the chrono test? It must've been a light pellet or it will be needing adjusting. I agree...you should do as he suggests and try the heaviest commercially available pellet which to the best of my knowledge is a Bis Mag/ Barracuda and take it from there. You should be looking for 11.5FPE with it
  15. As above all. I have a Weihrauch 97k MK2 in excellent condition that i've fitted a v-mach full kit to. There are 1 or 2 very minor dings on the stock that aren't noticeable until you look very closely.and i've touched up some of the blueing so it looks great. It shoots well with a number of different pellets but the best seems to be best with AA Fields and Accupels/Powapels. I fitted the v-mach myself and have fired approx 1500 pellets through it since. I have also tuned the rifle to approx 11.3FPE with Accupels so it's well within legal limits. I've done several chrono strings on the the rifl
  16. There's always in- fighting within different factions of a sport. Seen it all my life with the fishing and why...i can't for the life of me think of 1 good reason "Stand together we win...divided we fall" or some shite like that
  17. Another vote for the Hawke scopes. I have 2 and they're great. No need to spend hundreds on a scope for sub 12FPE imho. The Hawke Sport range are decent enough. I have 1 on my 97k and it's fine
  18. The back dog carrying the rabbit is 1 for a frame
  19. Excellent pics mate. Is the wee black fella a full Whippet? He's the spitting image of my wee black fella
