  2. 8am and 6pm for my mutts. If they dont eat it it gets lifted and they dont get it again til next feeding time...very rarely do they not eat it...works for me
  3. Try his facebook page. http://www.(!64.56:886/pages/John-Bowketts-Official-Fan-page/178352388876311
  4. Neil Young wrote this as his mates and band members were herion addicts...they died of their addictions. An excellent song...just a shame that too many rock legends died well before their time due to herion addiction
  5. I have the same scope and its superb for the dosh...think i paid quid new about a year ago...money well spent!!! More than adequate for air rifles!!! Nice shootin too
  6. If they have taken the funds then contact the buyer asking for photographic proof that the lens is scratched and ask for the scope to be returned...then contact ebay and tell them that you have made these requests to the buyer
  7. Another wasted talent sadly. His father came to our high school 25 years ago...he was going around the country doing talks on the effects of drugs.
  8. Never heard of that 1. Have you checked your paypal account to see if ebay has taken the funds? Personally i would've asked for proof that the lens is scratched such as a photo
  9. well with any lurcher you start with a 1x, to get any lurcher line. There some very good lurcher x lurcher bred out there . Ive had 1xs as they are very good rabbits dogs, with great nose, good feet+coat, and not bad stamina, for day+ night work. Isuppose with lurcherx lurcher bred you get faster type dog with more running dog in the mix, and with saluki in there prob better stamina. But the x i have now 1 x gsd x grey, a renown for very good stamina, that will run all night long, and plenty of guts for any quarry that you (may) bump into as well as rabbits pre ban, and not bad pace for big dogs.
  10. Do you not think its more about what you put into a dog??? Just a thought with my ltd experience
  11. I wouldn't bother either as they'll see you comin a mile away
  12. Around the 2 strands only for a single knot...around 2 then 1 for double knot. be sure that the knot beds in correctly or you'll end up with a net full of sliders
  13. My scope's are on 12x mag and stay there and zero'ed at 30 yards...no need to be too technical imho
  14. Cheers all. Used to use them in the S10 and they were excellent in that but i had Accupels and tried them and they worked equally as good so stuck with them as they're 5 quid cheaper. Thanks again
  15. Nice strong looking bitch. A mate that i do the salmon fishing with has black labs that he shoots over. Gave me a demo 1 day...amazing to watch how they respond to him...fantastic dogs
  16. You could slate it but you would need to be sure it will carry the weight...other than that green mineral felt ;-)
  17. Its not difficult at all. Just make sure your knots are tightened down well so they dont slip ;-)
  18. As above...i'm wondering what you're all using in your AA S410 Classics. I use Accupels and Powapels in my S10 and 97k and they're spot on in those rifles but they don't go so well in the AA. As usual...don't fancy buying loads of different tins so thought i'd ask to see if there 1 or 2 that stand out. Cheers.
  19. 3ft is a bit small i would say. I don't knit anything below 1 metre. 7-14,14,14,14-7...2 1/4" board gives a 1 metre net with approx 18 nets from 500gram spun poly ball. Have a browse on youtube...plenty good vids on there
  20. They go well in lots of rifles. There's a pellet swap thread if you do a search...worth trying there before you buy
  21. Mk3 Bull Barrel. The shroud is much longer than my mk3 BBK. Lovely rifle mate. Is it factory FAC?
  22. Down to personal preference. If you already have a .22 and you are used to a .22 then i would stick with it. .22 for me
