    Im looking for a suitable person to come ferreting on a regular basis with myself to my permissions. I did a majority on my own last year and it can be "difficult" to say the least when on your own. This by no means gives someone "permission" to go when they like its purely with myself which is most weekends anyway. Hopefully someone with a couple of good working ferrets and nets ect. The ferretting is not easy due to the terrain and can be challenging but good fun. you may have some permission yourself and could return the favour. ATB, Ian.

    Good you can get out this early mate. round my permissions everything is still thick with cover. hopefully by the middle of october should be able to see some holes.

    Had a similar problem with myb3 Jill's, they kept dragging one and other all over the plaice. Someone told me it was their mothering instinct as they had the jab. Just got a hob today from my mate so he will be getting the "snip" and servicing them himself next time they come into season.

    If you don't want to pay the bowkett blue print then keep sending it back to BSA mate until they get it right. It's a shame that BSA are sending these rifles out probably knowing that they will come back at some stage!! I sent mine back twice but the problems were never sorted despite the report coming back saying it was fixed and had been tested. In the end I decided to just pay the money and send it off to JB with the assurance that when I got it back I knew it would be fit for purpose and exactly how they should be and better.

    according to the test label mate its 11 years out of date!! No dive shop will touch it nless theres another sticker on it somewhere else. other wise you will need a full hydro test doing.

    Antiseptic cream has definitely done the trick. Swelling right down now returning to normal.

    Not always the best in my experience, when I took them fr their jabs the young vet had never even seen a ferret before!! He had to look up the dosage in the book and was not confident even holding them!!

    Started putting some antiseptic cream on and it seems to be halting the spread so far. Fingers crossed.

    One of my Jill's has developed what appears to be growth of some sort on the side of her nose. It's a light browny colour and has the appearance of a scab over the top. It's not a wound or anything as its getting bigger. Any help please.

    yes its an fac in 22. You get 30 full power shots and it drops off after that. It runs at 960fps with 16g air arms.

    Got my R10 back from John last week and its like a totally different rifle. It now shoots pellet on pellet at 60yrds and consistant up to 30 shots when it starts to drop off. I was only getting 15 before due to the poor assembly of the regulator which is common problem with then apparently. john carried out other works which now has transformed it to how john originally designed them!! To meet john was a pleasure and he is a total gentlemen, explaining everything clearly what he had done and what the problems were and to top it all off had a call yeasterday from John to make sure e

    sometimes its just their adrenanlin that drags them to the hole. If you hit them and their ears are still up then they are wounded. Ive hit them before with a rimfire at 30 yrds and had crawlers but as their ears were down i knew they wouldnt make it far. As said before though if you get your hand down the hole they sometimes are there dead or sitting.

    JB blue print is now 150+ vat. just had mine done. Great service from John dropped it off on saturday and hes rang today to say its ready for collection.

    Maybe its a medical reason? Have you ever Seen your Doctor For depression or an illness tha could affect your state of mind.

    Had one myself once, so accurate couldnt belive it. only sold mine to fund new R10.

    Box standard!! When you fit a kit which takes 15mins max and cost £14 you will not be pulling too hard on the second stage which can cause you to pull off target slightly.

    Change the magnification on the scope, at shorter ranges you wont need as much mag. I have a panorama on my R10 with no AO and have no problems on say 6/8 mag up to 30 yrds. Past that its fine on 12 if i need it up to 60/70 yrds.

    Try a Rimfire magic trigger kit mate, will improve your groupings straight away.
