no offence meant by it just imo nobody wants a slow dog cos on some land the longer the chase the more chance of getting a tug. these days anyway but pre ban was maybe a different story

hard to tell from the pic get it to the vet just incase theres no substitute for a professional opinion

very nice clean looking litter good luck with them. you sometimes get slower dogs crop up in litters optimus but dont think anybody in the coursing world intentionally breeds for that quality or if theres a trend for that it must be a new thing?

you would also be more likely to get something bred from working parents if you went to typ ratcher or someone else who works their collie x instead of line hancocks pockets his dogs havent seen a rabbit since watership down was first released in the cinemas lol

my thoughts on yapping is that you cant cause a dog to do it by foolish handling like slipping on stuff it has no chance of catching or running it too young or unfit, these things will all show the fault up if the dogs that way inclined but if a dog doesnt have the trait it will never utter a peep no matter how much stick you give it at what age. you could rear 2 pups exactly the same way same feeding exercise training and give one some runs at 10 month old and it wont make a sound its whole life and hold the other one off til its 14 month and it could yap for no reason. some dogs do it as pup

got to agree with riohog no way i would post anything about what i hunt on here or any pics why give the law an easy job and anyone who says they dont get convictions or seizures of dogs and hunting equip off the net is living in dream world. just the other day was reading about a full time squad in lincs operation galileo they want to target specific areas and find out info about where and when illegal huntings taking place they dont even need to leave their nice warm office to do it cos its all on here pics names places the lot

dont like it myself brendy i see it as a sign of weakness like the dog is crying out for help or frustration i wouldnt keep a dog that yaps but each to their own

got to disagree there you can get a very keen dog that never gives tongue. personally i wouldnt want a dog that yaps as theres plenty out there that do the job without making a sound but that being said buddys throwing some top stuff so it would be worth taking the risk of having a couple culls in the litter to get something good out of him

yeah cos you eventually end up with 2 dogs in the final against each other but the way ive always understood it is foxy was unbeaten in all the other matches it ran that werent in competitions. if that makes sense
