  1. If I had room for some taxidermy, it wood be something like this. Or I quite fancied a Gorilla hand ashtray, Elephant leg umbrella stand or a Grizzly bear coat stand .
  2. I only ever get my dogs to jump if they have to. Training on the job. Pup looks good though. All I will say is, steady as you go .

    What X

Is it a cross of working dogs?
  7. Chinning and necking are not the same thing. Tiercel I was talking necking not chinning. Is that 5 pages yet?
  8. No one has clarified that trying to neck a rabbit in the net can be hindered by the net not allowing enough stretch. Also like to repeat what I mentioned before that a rabbit despatched by the priest, in my experience tends to have less nerve movement, kicking etc. And to be quite honest I don't really care for public whilst I'm ferreting.
  9. Advice, find some other land to run your dog. Flint can be the ruin of a running dog. The only thing in your favour is the lighter the dog and the better the skin, the more you'll get away with.
  10. Welcome mush. Not many admit coming from Sheppey .
  11. I've tried them all and a stun to the head stops movement the quickest, that or chinning. Necking can cause problems with nets and I don't think it's right to have a couple of goes at the old Karate chop business . I find that chinning as necking does, sometimes causes trauma/bruising to the shoulder area, where as the priest limits this. Any way I will give chinning more of a go as people seem sure about the method. Cheers, never to old to learn .
  12. Tiercel, "too many variables to be consistent" what do you mean by that?
  13. Ask him he thinks any of the meat on his plates had a decent end, I think not. I think a priest is the quickest and most effective way of dispatching rabbits in nets.
  14. Maybe you need some testosterone jabs or a bigger pair of trousers
  15. Thing is mate, you let the misses get involved in buying a dog, "like they do" O dear.
  16. That's upset the misses. Bang goes me bunk up. I'll have to work me charm Fecking dog fighting program what ever next
  17. mince chicken 60lb £14
  18. Depends on how much you're paying, for me no.
  19. I have seen lots of birds catch lots of things and I have seen a Steppe Eagle catch a fox BUT it didn't kill it. In fact it caught it once let it go, gained some height and bang caught it again. After a struggle let it go and lost a talon. That Eagle weighed 8lb if my memory serves me correctly and apparently they catch foxes. I have also seen Harris Hawks catch lot of stuff, nothing bigger than a Hare. Not it couldn't be done but I'm pretty doubtful. Maybe a cub or weak specimen.
