Clulite for reliability, liteforce for beam,I,ve rewired my striker recently, going well so far, also got a "flip" filter, works a treat!! I like it, I will use that with a little added strength by fitting a large jubilee clip around th dia of lamp before bolting/pop riviting together

Golf course's like rabbits shot using lamp. Ferret's are for day time and no one is going to shut parts of the course, dogs can possibly damage greens. Ask about air rifle or 22 rim fire, get some insurance before asking.

Nice dog, I'm affraid my bitches are a bit young and so far they haven't even a season under their belts, I'm sure they will make the grade and your dog would be the type of dog I would be looking for. By the way I am running a Whippet x Greyhound 21.5tts 28lb needs to be more robust and a 3/8 5/8 Bull/Greyhound 24tts 50lb that needs a coat.

The moon has a lot to do with it. If it can't see well it wouldn't hunt on as much, also how much day time hunting has it done? Mine used to hunt on a bit so I stopped taking it out in the day time untill it was coming back as soon as the lamp went off. Remember the dog is twelve months old so it may have learnt a few bad habits they will take time to correct and don't chastise the dog untill it knows it is doing wrong and it will only know this if it has learnt what is right, so plenty of praise when it get it right.

The truth is Kay, it was not the fault of your dog, but for you dog to grab the other dog you wasn't in control, so my opinion is just be more aware of your dogs action's and predict what it is going to do. Reading your dog is something that comes with time and as you have taken on an adult dog you must be prepared for the unexpected. I hope this helps .
