    I agree to disagree there buddy you can get one spot for ferts any where that deals with pets !! I find it better as the spray as there is no chance of over spray as its fluid in easy application like a very small tooth past tube

    That's a lot of rabbits I don't no much about box traps but thought they only hold one maybe two rabbits or can you get them a lot bigger ? Upper tees dale I've got some good land up that way that's been flooded really bad over last 2-3 month

    You can buy them from Wilkys even the pound shop its also called one spot and really works well mine get done half way through the second month it's a 3 month dose in one very easy metherd all you do is open it and gently work through the fur to the skin and squeeze that's it job done

    How come it has that many if you don't mind me asking ? If there is that many on it bud best bet to go see a vet ASAP Ticks are normally dormant or dead this time of year ???? Do not try to pull them out by hand you need a little tool from the vets about £4-5 or kill them while still dug in infection will set in strate away and could and probbly Kill the ferret 1st get it to the vets

    Do you mean nets not holding on the trees or can't get close enuff ? My trick is to use little twigs in the bark to hold them up or this might sound daft but it works get some branches or strait twigs about a foot and a half long push them in the ground around the tree and so you can gently hang the purse nets from bit like setting up a long net but remember to have the net on the side away from the hole so the branch/twigs don't stop the net from closing around the rabbit hope this helps mate ATB mark

    The best net to me is a myth I use all type of nets and they all work really well even the 4z nylon they tangle easy but are very good catchers and hold the rabbits better than all of them but every one to there own really buddy , to me the best net is one with a rabbit in atb mark

    I was out with rabbitcatcher1 today for a morning ferreting on his land We got there for half 8 and sat in the car for five mins watching a few sets we seen driving up one with a rabbit sitting out side (silly thing) we started to net up my little dog marking a couple holes at the same time trying to pull the nets back off with her head (she still learning ). The land owner pulled up for a bit crack while out on his rounds and give us a few pointers where he seen the rabbits.     i remember loosing a collar 2 1/2ftdown no spade nust my hands and a pair of wire cutters in a little hedge the bloody ruts were unreall mate took ages cracking pic of the dog in the net mind little things like that make a bad day to a goodn well done lads atb mark

    Just been for a mooch with the dog to see how the local bunnies are doing close to my home on the higher land every thing is looking kinda ok ,but down near the beck it looks like a total loss! I mean a 2 mile walk down the beck must of come across 20 - 30 warrens all washed out some big sets of 25+ holes with no sight or sign of rabbits in any of them . Molly my jack Russell bitch nearly all ways puts 5 - 20 rabbits up out the hedges and mark over half the sets ? But this morning not one not one rabbit any where near the beck it's all worrying really with it been so close to breeding season .

    You get all the kids going out with no finders I've found nets still on holes even snares on holes irrasponsable parents letting them go with no tools ,fert down for more than 10 mins fxxk it leave it . It's wrong all wrong

    Snow makes it's easy find all the little sets that are getting used and all the big ones that are not :-(

    just heard on the radio that from sunday we might get up to 4" of snow (co durham) sunday, south gets it saturday bring it on i say love working the ferts and dog in the snow any one els feel the same

    Fishing bag carrys 60 nets blipper pegs every thing even my folding spake, then I also use army issue bag it can go over your shoulder or round your waist and holds 25 nets handy for in and around the bushes n brambles

    took my little lad out for a few hours today with my girls molly,jess,jenny . me and our callum started the day with a mooch a\s it was warm and the bunnys were out playing when we pulled into the car park!! molly was running around not knowing witch one to go after but she calmed down after five mins and started working the sets mind the rabbits where not going in the warrens we could see whitch was a bummer but she still done me proud agian first set was in a corner of a field with about 7 holes , in went jess out came 2 rabbits whithin 5 mins on to the next one a big warren of 45 -55 holes
