OK so your rubbing it down now, have you wet it between grades?Y.I.S Leeview Yep wash,d her off with soapy water after each sanding , should have the sanding finished to night and it will go back to being dark David once the oil is put back on her cant wait to see what she is going to turn out like atvbmac :thumbs: why soapy water after each sanding? sponging down with clear water will be fine no chemicals in clear water and once will be OK the grain only raises once this will stop the grain raising when you oil itY.I.S Leeview As i had oiled it when i first took

went out last night but when i got to the permission the fog was realy bad and the air was so still .it wurnt worth stoping long only walked a few fields and back home . just got the one but nice to be out .
