never had any get up thats why .and if you are taking them at range they do the job.ive used alsorts trust me .you wana try soom bit expensiue but worth it.think they call them turkey loads copper coated lead.ive tried 3"bbs os 1s 3s .only time i use lighter is from highchair when am baiting them.
You've never tried doing it or your doing something wrong if you missed. Distance is immaterial
never tried it mate and wouldnt like to i suppose light loads would be ok but dont fancy putting my 2 1/4 ounce loads like that.
No you won't.
I've shot plenty of foxes and rabbits that way.
My lamping buddy has being shooting foxes for 20 years that way, I haven't seen him miss one yet.
what sort of distance have you been doin fox like that.
get a good led cree torch and hold it in the normal firing postition.dont lay the gun on your wrist like said above the recoil will make it jump and you wil end up missing.
i miss having my big lad had to get rid of it when i moved house use 2 keep it in large homemade vivarium in mi dads conseratry.no room for that size of vivarium here.had him bout 5 yr started off at 2ft long and was bout 10-11ft when he had to go.he didnt go cos he was to big to handle just had no room.
only 1 good thing for me is ambushing foxes in the snow you can see them fields away.
and they can see you fields away
not when am sat up on mi high seat they cant .
