Yes mate common from the lodge lake, looks a bit smaller than 42lb in the pics but the publicity helps them I suppose. Going back for a few days in August, been 3 times previously in the lodges with the wife not everyone's cup of tea but it makes a nice change from a bivvy and Ive always done well with fish up to 29lb.

Electrical sub station gone up in flames in London, all very strange !

I was amazed how little it was reported on MSM I have to be honest, a big chunk of Europe losing its power is a big thing I would have thought? I don't think we would get to 3 days in this country with a power grid failure without some sort of civil unrest.
-
840 million people still live without electricity in the world but its estimated Western society would collapse within 3 days with a total grid failure. Does make you think how reliant we have become.

The beams across the Bridgwater and Taunton canal had dropped and fallen into the canal, removed and now placed along the bank. They were used to measure movement in the walls and poetry was engraved into them for the bbc drama wolf hall. -

Forum: A situation or meeting in which people can talk about a problem or matter especially of public interest. I've always been told to respect my elders but for that to happen in my opinion respect also needs to be given in return. Some of your post have been completely disrespectful as of late and down right weird in some cases so claiming this discussion is "bandwith bilge" and then posting a reply moaning about page after page of moaning is a tad hypocritical. If you don't like the topic don't reply !

I was always a big royal and had a lot of time for the Queen but Ive changed my opinion. We forget a great deal of what's happening now in this country happened on her watch and we are suffering the consequences. King "diversity is our strength" Charles may as well wear a Thobe and Taqiyah as his robes now as far as Im concerned, waste of tax payers money as they are no more than a tourist attraction except you would have more fun visiting Alton Towers.

Strange isnt it sugar was shovelled down our necks but almost every kid was as skinny as anything. You imagine a "sugar tax" being accepted back then!
-
Our Alpine driver was Polish his name was Dropa Bottleovpopov !!! Stuff must have been pure sugar couple that with the fruit polo's we had as a treat its amazing kids had any teeth left.

Ive said before mate report it to the Angling Trust the EA wont do anything unless 1000's of fish float to the surface and there is more of a visual aspect to it. The Angling Trust force the EA into investigating or they prosecute them direct instead of the polluter. How to Report a Pollution Incident - Angling Trust

I would give my left bollock to have a leader who says we are going to put the British people first, bring back industries, and stop other countries ripping us off and actually does it. Common sense really and struggle with the divs who argue against it.
