    cheers pal, the last few times we went out the first set he marked didnt have rabbits in but all the others he marked did so i think that it was over excitement but today he was bang on from the start so hes defo getting better and like i said he did better in the cover today aswell

    went out this morning again with a few mates, never ferreted this perm before just shot with air rifle, the pup marked straight away, netted up and dropped in the ferrets and after 10 mins we had 3 good size rabbits, all the sets are massive and in realy awkward places with thorn bushes and brambles, there is hundreds of meters of it, we only did 3 sets that the pup marked and finished with 7 good rabbits, we must have missed the same amount that bolted from holes we didnt find, (wont miss them next time thou), again the pup marked great and done a good bit of work in the cover today, the ferr

    my pup is about 7 months old and is marking realy well, hes been out about 4 times with me ferreting and every time he has marked sets we have had rabbits, (besides 2,,, and both have been the first sets weve come across when getting onto the land),, excitement probably,, ) he's a sprocker x russel,workes great and is sound with ferrets & livestock
