  1. It keeps changing and I'm struggling to keep up with all the fantasy numbers you post ... so it was between 15 and 50 mile to give a few dogs a run each
  2. he can do 30/40 miles across fields for 3 runs
  3. Exactly... just because its always been done that way doesn't make it right. Had this argument regarding hunting and fishing many times
  4. Prepped too much veg and spuds, rang my mate and said teas on the table at 5.
  5. It's not a noise they're use to ... it's another topic you don't know about so just sit and learn ?
  6. My old man insisted on using a lucas spotlight still in the earlier 2000s
  7. Probably never had to go that far for a few runs on foot
  8. There's atleast 1 bloke i know on here that's been doing it since the 80s ... maybe you invented it but we perfected it Tapping on the roof makes too much noise imo
  9. Left to right for reverse, light the road in front for next gate and flick on and off for stop I need to get in
  10. Did we f**k; stood on the back bumper lamping over the hedges ... if it moved it was fair game and if it didn't it was used for sighting in the air gun
  11. I can remember nights like that, starting in Somerset and ending in Hampshire at day break
  12. I dunno about that; can remember him talking very loudly at a show about foxes. How he'd had some very big foxes and how many his bitch had taken but she didn't have a mark on her .... he then about 6 months later sent a pic of his 'fox'bitch and wispa (sure it was called that) dancing around. He posted it too brag about foxes but in the pic neither dog was touching the fox ?
  13. God honest trust I dint know exactly where we where. The beach we normally work was busy so we just kept going down until we found an empty one, I could give you a rough area but that would be it
  14. Between Falmouth and St Austell the other night at dusk and something crossed the road ... couldn't make it out myself but the other 2 in the van were convinced it was a big cat. Stopped where it crossed and could here something going through the hedge/copse and sounded 'badgerey ', very clumsy and clattery with branches breaking
  15. She may be on something like twitch at the same time
  16. I don't know the microns but could pick it out of a line up ? The other thing I've noticed some do is out too much in a bag or try and seal too close to the top ... these always fail in my experience
  17. Streaming is exactly this ... playing a game live while people watch you play
  18. Also the cheap ones require the bags with a funny square pattern, this pattern imprints on fish
  19. I think it's normally down to the bag tbh when that happens; we use it on a 30 sec cycle and vac thousands of bags and very very few fail. Does your work one have a double seal bar mackem?
  20. Chamber ones are the ones to have but aint cheap. Also look for double seal bars. The cheap ones are OK if for out home and for a few days but don't hold out and will lose the seal
  21. Higher parts of the plym, Avon and tamar/tavi that should only produce mullet and flounder will now produce bass all year. Lad I know well caught a smut at Kingsbridge pump station not too long ago; no rhyme or reason anymore
