  1. I seen him and a few others worked in the 1970s... I always prefared Staffordshires, but seen a lot of very good Wheatens, Bull terriers ware not that popular... as I said unlike the Staffords and Wheatens, there was no strain of working Bull terriers ...
  2. I think you living in a fantasy, if you believe there is any working straing of (English) Bull terriers.... name a known dog from any working line... Uk and Ireland is a small place for people in the know... there has never being a working strain... Was there not a working English bull called the red hand of ulster Yes ..he was worked , he was (English) bull terrier...from Kc lines...not from a working strain
  3. look in j darcys dead game book youl see some Any Bull terrier in the Dead Game book...where just individuals bull terriers from kc lines... I sent Darcy 90% of the photos that appeared in the book, along with the articles... I knew the bull terriers who photos where in the book ...and none where from any working line or strain....just show kc dogs...used at trials... nothing more...
  4. they used a Bull terrier... there is no working strain... if you say Staffordshire Bull Terrier I can name a 1/2 dozen that are out there ..you will not find one line of working Bull terriers ever...any Bull terriers worked in the past at badger trials or in the field ware individual from show kc lines....

A friend (who is going into hospital for a back opperation) is selling a well bred working bloodline Wheaten terrier, the pup 7 months old ,a male, 6 generation pedigree all working dogs, LATHARNA bloodline, if anyone interested , contact me here and I will put you in contact with the owner..... ps..it has all its injections etc

  15. as far as i know the early ones were real blue in colour ,not black, and were meant to be a good dog,but as i say this is goin back a long time before the hunting life computer specialists were even born. lololololololol they musta been good at something or they woulda died out long long ago They were good at winning rosettes :laugh: I think they have been show dogs and nothing else, for over 100 years now... they have not died out like many show dog...
  16. I dont think Kerry blues ware used for fighting , thats just another myth put on them, I always wondered what they ware for , as they are not specalized at anything..?
