ATTEMPT AT BREAKING COTTON THREAD WITH BSA SCORPION SE.177
AR177 replied to hotshot2me's topic in General Airgun Discussion
If im teaching you to suck eggs please ignore me but when you look down the sight to the target try and get it so that the crosshairs only move up and down when you breathe, if they move left and right then your shooting position is too loose and needs to be tightened up. The crosshairs should be in sync with your breathing over the target , so for me the crosshairs are where i want them when i reach the bottom of the exhale (when i take my shot) and rise when i breathe in. A good tip is to point at the target as if you were going to shoot, close your eyes and breathe for a few second -

Try doing it on the exhale rahter than inhaling and holding your breath. Thats when your body is at its tighestest and most stable, squeeze the trigger on the exhale and take up first pressure, reach the bottom of the exhale when the stomarch is tightest , pause in breathing (no more that 5 seconds) squeeze second pressure, shot is fired then breathe again. If after the 5 seconds you have not taken the shot release the pressure and breathe again, compose and start over thats how i got taught and it works well for me Give it a try and see how you feel everyone developes their own ry -
I got a question, a little bit off the subject but marksman mentioned 1/2 mil dot at x10. Is the 1/2 mil dot ret 1/2 mil dot at x10 or x20? As my Hawke Varmint SF 2.5-10 1/2 mil dot seems to equate to a mil dot ret at x10 - it would only be a true 1/2 mil dot at x20 what i mean is .. If im shooting 50yards with 10x its about 3 mil dots on chairgun where as in the field on my reticle it comes in at 1.5 (3 notchs on the reticle) 1/2 what it should be if its 1/2 mil dot at x10 but correct for 1/2 mil dot at x20. Ive checked the power, balistics etc ive done Si's 3 shot method etc and

Either RWS superfields or AA fields, they worked a treat at the june meet, had to switch to the AA fields half way through as i put a little more lead down the barrel than i was expecting and ran out of RWS. I have shot so many brands trying to find a good one it that damn ranger i have come to the conclusion that when the group opens up its just me being crap and not so much the pellets unless you use defiant ogives.... good god they are awful!!! lucky to get a 6inch group with those at 30yrds! alot of them were tried at the june meet they are strange pellets! I havent shot the

I know this kind of frustration... I agreed to sell something to person 'x' from this site, we got all the way to collecting the item after serveral discussions, on the day of the agreed collection i waited in all day... no show... no message... no explination...no phone call... nothing I waited for a week to hear from person 'X' but nothing, so then i had to resell the item .. I didnt lose anything just delayed by a week waiting to hear from them. There are alot of time wasters on here and for some reason they get kicks out of stringing people along, you just have to see it as yo
