  1. Wow is was rightly off.......it is saying 5 x 1 ton bags of ballast and therefore way over twice the amount of 25kg bags of cement. I still stick by my calculation.
  2. Potato famine. lol Sorry Jonjon79......you put Irish and British in the same sentence there. You must have made a typo.
  3. You should get that Ballast and cement (including delivery) for under £200 by my calculation....but holy feck....the calculator has my pricing way off. Going by the stuff below you would surely be talking under £400!
  4. A foot really????? That is some serious concrete depth. 4m x 2.5 at 8inches deep needs two ton of ballast (sand gavel mix) and 12 bags of cement. So for a foot deep (12 inches), another ton and about 5 bags which would be 3 ton of sand/gravel mix and 17 bags of cement. But lad, that is some serious friggin concrete depth, honestly! Don't you worry about mixing that, get a buddy. It takes 3 hours to mix, tamper and float 4m x 2.5 at 4 inches deep. Add another two hours for depth but the same time to tamper and float. It is an easy job, just make sure you have a board to s
  5. Thats not true about the RSPCA at all. I have been in this predicament about a nuisance complaint. RSPCA only called if their is a clear humane issue i.e. housing. Don't you worry your wee cotton socks. This is about noise at crazy hours and at too high a volume. Council will be on your side honestly.
  6. Real quick one here. Would be grateful if someone could stick up a photo of their heavy duty stacked breeder hutches. Need a few ideas.
  7. Michaela I have been were you are and its horrible. Your Council environmental health officer is only a phonecall away and you must give them a call before this gets out of hand. They will put a sound level recorder in your property which records decibels at each given time of the day. It provides supporting evidence and enables your officer to be able to act. Send them an accompanying email to outline what time you called next door, the reason, what was said, the outcome and how things have persisted. No one should ever have to suffer at the hands of those who don't give a damn
  8. Lad, always keep posting. Its not real life. These guys close their laptop down and within a second forget you exist!
  9. More like saying to myself "dont f**k it up, dont f**k it up dont f**k it up", gun onto sticks, locate heart, breath.....breath......... breath out, hold breath and boom! To sit an analyse which deer, i never get the time to be choosy. The ground I hunt is just so dense, takes 100% concentration and I have even hunted it in trainers to be that extra bit quiet.
  10. How far from the car am I and pick the lightest if alone!
  11. Certainly yearlings but in the field these are the stags I would have no hesitation in culling. As a stalker, depending on the herd size of course in relation to a specific land parcel, having a good idea of the sex ratio males to females......I would be actively looking to harvest these spikers.
  12. If I was managing that herd I would have had those red stags culled. They will blind the others when sparring during a rut as they have no tines. I have saw spikers in my time but this is ridiculous!
  13. I tell you what, that adbruf aggregate looks a great job for ground around the pen. Looks like aggregate but able to take a good powerhosing. Great one King.
  14. I am looking at external floor paints like Resucryl......I believe they have a slip resistant version. Might just look at the price here....
  15. I got life and had to share a room with this c**t. Every f****n day I woke up to find the same c**t just looking at me. Ate, shit and slept together. oh no wait....thats marriage.
  16. I think another 10 bags of cement wouldn't go a miss. Aye I have been looking at a resin dpm. Any suggestions? Raining cats and dogs were I am which works well if I need more cement, buys me some time.
  17. Honestly like, how drunk would you have to be!!!!!
  18. My mate once went down on a girl on her rag when he was bollocksed drunk.......got lifted by the cops when walking home for fighting because his face was covered in claret!
  19. Lads I am ready to go. Channel drains are in and I have a natural slope to the drain due to the lie of the land. Just to shutter with 1 degree of slope towards the drains and I am ready to mix concrete. I'll go with what I have got 11 bags of cement and 2 ton of sand gravel ontop of my already laid 2ton of blinding. If I fall short that is a good thing. It means I can do the last foot to the drains to make an absolutely first class job of how the water flows away. I'll get photos up in the next fortnight of the finished. Great to get the advice.
  20. My reaction to reading this line in the article......"May cause fear and distress in the rat colony"...........
  21. Sounds like some of our Lakelands, ranging from tidy to larger deep chested dogs.
  22. I thought there was a bit of bull in there somewhere, powerful wee dogs. With the APBT in the line is there ever an overlarge pup thrown up in the litter which would be classed as too big or are they all roughly the same? Some real tidy breeding you have there.
  23. I intend shuttering the full depth of 2x4 so that should be deep enough, what ya think?
  24. Thanks for the ratio. Always good to get advice from those working on it day in day out.
  25. I suppose I can always shutter off a section if I fall short of cement, finish that cell and then redo the rest that same day or next day.
