  10. As an ambassador of his company I wish the global gundog community could see how he just went straight off on a tangent and spoke to one of the lads on here. A dog peddler is not a derogatory term it just means you buy and sell. There was no need for that. The reply he gave could potentially sink his company if that was shown on the stalking directory were he receives a lot of attention for the dogs he peddles.
  11. As for returning the jill.............jayzuz lad...........don't do that. This is just the first chapter of your ferret experiences with plenty more to come. You might see some of my earlier posts about a demon jill I had which locked onto me every time I put my hand near her. She is now like a kitten and the one I would think of least of giving me a nip. But her earlier bites weren't nips, frig she could near have removed the top of my finger! Now she is absolutely first class and I am expecting a litter of her so really looking forward to seeing the outcome as I put a big polecat hob ove
  12. She is doing the complete opposite than what you think. She is taking ownership of him. That is what the nipping is about as she is always in competition with the other female. As for not letting him into the sleeping quarters, she might be going through a ghost pregnancy as he has got the squish, therefore she is going through all the symptoms of expecting a brood and making private space for herself where males are concerned. It certainly is the exact time of year for a jill to be going through these motions. But honestly, have you ever seen a male vasectomised or not throwing a nutt
  13. Now if you don't need to do the whole slab 8 inches deep, but instead only the footings.....then why are you calculating cement for a 3m cubic slab?
  14. Sheesh, the neck a some people. Do ya want yer driveway tarmaced?
  15. That's why I did the calculator. To be sure to be sure. Scan up and you'll see it.
  16. But the Queen is German......her family came from the Gotha family. They changed their name because of sentiment during the 2nd World War. Ever get the feeling those wars were all about making the rich richer? I mean, did you know Germany invaded Poland because Poland was shooting down German passenger planes. The German people begged Hitler to stop the Polish and Hitler wrote to the humanitarian court and NATO countries asking to intervene. The Polish shoot down another plane so the Germans took the matter into their own hands. You were never taught that in school I bet!
  17. Lad I used to do all the hanging baskets in a huge country park. Lobelia is the absolute dogs balls................overflows the basket in a huge stream of tiny hanging blue flowers. Make sure you have a hose for your hanging basket.....its a case of putting the hose into the basket and leaving it there for a minute and a half until the peatmoss is absolutely saturated. Hanging baskets take huge volumes of water!
  18. And to bring this back to the original post so I cannot be accussed of hijacking it........speaking of hijacking.....being British means that you are the first to die when a terrorist hijacks a plane. Irish can wave the neutrality flag.
  19. The auld sham wave while trying not to hit the ditch when driving by your mates comin the other way. class!
  20. Also being Irish is about every single American wanting to be Irish and the Irish reminding the British there is this big Blue thing between them and the British called the SEA!
  21. Here is a better question............what does being Irish mean to you? Hunting, the craic, rallyin old cars down ramparts, soda bread, potato bread, wheaten terriers, St. Paddy's day, and buckfast. Tea solves everything, even thirst on a hot day. If you go out shopping and leave the emersion on you come home a nervous wreck! The main aim of the day is for everything to be 'grand'. If you worry about something you go light a candle and it's 'grand' again. Wakes are great craic but no smiling on the funeral day. If your mucker has no cousins then he is a weirdo and h
  22. Easy thing here is to write up a petition form going to each of your neighbours with a telephone contact for each one and in 3 sentences their own account of experiences with this neighbour. Hand it to your local Environmental Health Officer and one to your local MLA. Tell the council you have just handed it to your MLA because nothing is being done. Then you will see the ball moving. You are a few months away from the summer party period so the way I would be looking at this is the following. 1). Who has been affected. 2). What affect its had on each neighbour. 3). Where
  23. But us Irish are known for cutting it tight. Anyone want their driveway tarmac-ed.....honestly.....good price but don't blame me if the weeds come through it this summer!
