  1. we got some the other night and most of its still down because its frozen solid,forecast some more tonight,fingers crossed.

  4. when my old dog taffy first started off working there was the odd occasion when a fox had bolted that he would stay in the place were the fox had been,and we had to dig him out he never bayed or owt he would just sit there sniffing around,he soon got out of the habit and has never done it since.
  5. yeh thats her the ugly one wi the prick ears lol,just after the dig didnt get a pic of the fox as it bolted when i was coupling her up,i wer'nt bothered though was just pleased she stuck it out.
  6. is the dog you are checking the earths with proven its self underground,just a thought that it might be telling you there is nothing at home when there is,but if it is a proven dog then your just unlucky lol,good luck and keep trying.

  8. went out this morn to try an earth near me,i only do it a couple of times a year because its in front of some houses but always get a fox,i put the collar on the young bitch and she went to a couple of the entrances but choose an old dig they've opened up she was going in and out and kept going further each time then she dissapeared i heard a growl them she kicked off,i've dug this at a foot deep,but the bitch was under a pile of soil and shite,so idecided to pair in from the side because you can be seen from on the bump,anyway to cut a long story short it took me 3 hours to reach the bitch sh
  9. we've had alot of foxes under it its about 70 yards long and 10ft wide luckily we dropped on just at the side of it and we could reach dog and fox,we didnt know it ran that way though as we never normally dig it they usually bolt,we though we would of been well clear of the concrete as the foxes have tunnelled into the ash at the sides of it to.but the concrete turns on an angle.at least we know for next time. This concrete pad aint near a tip is it lol?I was not far from you today!I endid up just scareing a few deer tho lol. if i told you i'd have to kill you,ha ha.
  10. well they use velcro for bungee jumping so it cant be that weak.

  12. went out today didnt get out until about 1.30.so just went local,tried a few earths which were run but empty then the last place taffy entered he was on but not baying,i went back for the gear,we dug him at 3ft under a concrete slab,the fox was nearly dead but the dog hadnt been bit,i think there was something wrong with it even though it was in mint condition,and the dog has never killed anything to ground as hes a bayer mixer,or he could of just got lucky as there was alot of room under the concrete.abit gutted it was dead though.no pics as the battery is dead in the camera
  13. hee hee! good one jigsaw you know that ban we all abide by those foxes wer shot you know the foxes were shot i didnt mention that, there was about 15 guns there.
  14. went out today with my mates hounds,he was having a joint meet with a friend of his,the first draw they had 2 foxes,then we carried on for the day hunting about half a dozen more foxes running 1 in under a cliff so it was left there,heres a few pics.
  15. i would of thought proper mouse traps were easier and more humane.seems like a lot of messing with the water trap.
