went out today doing a few local spots,the first earth we tried held we entered my dog taffy after a young dog came out,he had to dig on a bit,then met his fox we got a mark at 0.6(nice and shallow)and dug him out the digging was abit choppy it was compacted ash.we then tried a few more earths with no luck,and did some cover and shifted 2 nice bonney foxes,then just on the way back to the jeep we walked past a nice 1 hole sand earth the dogs marked it but i had to be back for my brothers 18th,as we were walking away my dog taffy backed out of the couplings and entered with no collar on,so we j

it happened to me on sunday,with my reliable digging dog,a pup i have wanted into an earth so i let her have a look she did a bit of whinging and came out,so i double checked with taffy,he entered and was digging on,after a while it was decided to drop a hole to him to see what was going on,this dog will only bay when hes right on the quarry,but he had,nt made a noise,anyway 6ft later we got the dog out and there was a dead rabbit there mid tube, the tube kept on going and was easily big enough for a fox,but i dnt think there was a fox in,this doesnt mean il be getting rid of the dog il just p

yeh they the pups from wales i didnt bother with the red one,just got to smooth blacks but the bitches coat has gone broken,and john had the big rough one,hows your pups coming on you keeping any?

aye foxy thats kimbo himself at 8 weeks owd nice one pall !! An even younger Kimbo in the middle. Kimbo's grandfather, mother, some pups from nearly 20 years ago and a Gouldy bred bitch. some nice dogs there pal,had the pleasure of digging to kimbo on his first dig,cracking stamp of terrier.

the hassle was caused through a friend of mine going on without me and he got some grief,the farmer went mad and told me never to bring anyone on again,ive been going on for nearly 10 years.

Good pics, are them dogs all yours mate? look crackers them the red bitch was mine but was stolen in 2003,the middle pic are mine and some are my mates the dog im holding in the middle now lives on that farm exellent ratter but no good in earths,and the last pic of the 2 marking were both mine but now i just have the one on the right my mate has the other,had alot of good fun on that farm over the years.

cant be telling you were the farm is they are rarer than rocking horse shit farms like that,don't think he will allow anyone else on now anyway he had a bit of trouble and told me that i was'nt to fetch anyone new on,doesnt want people snooping round the place.

yeh would definatley prefer the wolds more rolling country,but i would'nt argue with any of the places down there its all nice land,i hope it happens and i end up down there.atb danny.,

his last house was in wrangle so probably round there,or somewhere round the wolds,it will be my dad whos buying the place and il be moving down with them,it all depends on if he can sell his place,it wnt be for a while but hopefully 1 day it will happen,its a nicer pace off life down there.used to love it as a kid.just wasnt sure what the digging was like down there.cheers.
