  1. Aha! Thank you. Now I won't come across as a stuttering fool when next asked that question.
  2. Cracking shooting Mole. Tuftys make for an interesting portion of protein. I normally have trouble describing it as it is quite unique. Yours is pretty accurate. I ate a female that had a distinctly nutty flavour, as you might expect, but not so with the many many others I've dined on. The skins are tough too. Great little creatures.
  3. Haha, that 'nudge' in the shoulder Si describes is actually Davy trying to put him off.
  4. Poorly. My veg seem to be on pause. Except the potatoes that is. Not enough sun I dont think.
  5. My point earlier. Why go to the hassle and added expense of tuning a Weihrauch HW97k when Air Arms offer the Prosport and do the job properly. Sure its £435 odd but thats a hundred less than the 97 tuned
  6. I second mole, Always good to get yourself an incident number.
  7. That's downright blasphemy! Take it back or be damned for eternity you heathen!
  8. Apologies for not mentioning before Si, Superb shooting. The vids you've done are a great resource for airgunners across the board. Not just the products, but more the marksmanship principles/techniques and insights you share. Its obvious this is a passion that you live and breath. It really shows and we're all the richer for it thanks to your sharing. Being on mobile internet I rarely get to watch the vids, but Mawders fills me in! Watched the one above though.
  9. I don't know how you can live with yourself Mawders. Sold a perfectly good TX for a Supertun and now you slate the beautiful 200 because you messed up and, on the rebound, are buying German to match your Car! I don't want any whiff of quality issues when I handover that sort of lolly. How long are you being made to wait for your 'Sandwell Field Sports tuned' HW95k? Not good matey.... Pah... I live in the woods and push muck into walls for pocket money. What do I know?
  10. Never fails to amaze me. If a meteorite struck a whisker from my head I wouldn't wait for the next. This ex-fly did. I had just set up to zero. First shot showed the scope was off. Aimed off. BLAM!. .177. Target size of 2p peice. This from a creature that can sense when you even THINK about raising your hand to swat it...
  11. Yep Ive warned Tony off pal for you. Its all up to you now buddy. £530 for a HW97KT with full stage 2 tune he said. Holy Smokes! Can see how cost effective a prosport might be. How do they compare Si? I appreciate you've got loyalties but you dont hear of prosports benefiting from tunes out of the box. Looks bad on weihrauch in a way. Prosports can be enhanced massively by fitting a Vmach kit.... Just the fact that "average joe" who buys a one is 99% of the time happy with how it performs and doesnt want to spend any money on it. Theres also the fact that if
  12. Ah ok. I've only had a HW97k and a TX200. Not the Prosport (so don't feel I can comment despite the similarity to the TX). The 97k was untuned, with one of those nasty 'cut' springs in. Will watch the video now i'm on proper broadband connection and actually see what a 'stage 2' involves. Might stop making an arse of myself then...

  14. Now either: You satisfied her so completely, fiction now pales to insignificance and mundane words on a page. Or; She's got a new toy. Or; A bit on the side. Or; You've confirmed to her that the fiction is a dream and to try and make it reality is to invite more crushing disappointment into her life. Or, if you're lucky; She's turned gay.
  15. I'll give ya a fiver for him. He'd look good in my garden sitting on a toadstool with a fishing rod...
  16. No theft, payment for services rendered. All on the blog
  17. Loadsa pics on the blog once you go back past the hunters chronicles bits. No, not a big caravan, i ripped out one end and built a double bunk jobby from milling off cuts I processed from the woodland in pembrokeshire. Hmm a visitor friend once a fortnight, could park kids off with the grandparents...nice idea trapperman, hope the mrs is up for it!
  18. Giro? Old school! Bank transfer these days. Stand up washes suffice and use less water.
  19. "will part Exchange for garden furniture or an american style fridge"... classic
  20. I've yet to find something that unit does better than a Sony camcorder, telescope adapter, and a £35 odicforce.com ir laser. Battery attaches to cam. Cheap Li-ion rip off batteries. £150 max vs £399 for the ns50 which is half the range. My comment is completely unqualified, not having used the nite site units, but from experience of the DIY arrangement, nite site would have a hard sell convincing me to change.
  21. I'm intrigued to hear how you get on with the p1000. The dominator looks very similar to an umarex 850 air magnum! Best advice? Get some lead down them barrels and blow some targets to kingdom come. In the past, I've whacked two tins of spitfires down it to save dosh then used my nice pellets
  22. That same git used to snatch my rizlas from my hand and eat them... funny the first time. Not so the many times after.
